Agreed. Touch of Harry about him today. Much younger than most signings too, may yet prove to be the best one.

The back three were all good.

No way can you drop any of them to bring EEL back in.
I touched on this yesterday, nobody will be wanting to miss a game. Carruthers taking his chance despite not being 100% fit, he stepped in and now Coutts has to wait for his chance again...

Very healthy scenario to be in

Wilder can really spot talent

both O Connel and Wright werent either being used properly or just werent motivated enough at previous clubs , but look totally in command together here
the chemistry is amazing, together we havent lost a game with them

We haven't lost a game with anyone together with Wright. Jack's in good company there with every player in the team...

I know that
but if you cant use a stat like that now when can you

but theres no denying they compliment each other on the pitch

Despite Wilder talking him up in his post-match interview (which I thought reflected him managing the player rather than a result of his performance, which was mixed), I expect Coutts will be straight back in for Tuesday.

It's nice that we have some decent competition there now though, as we didn't have it before January. Thinking back, we were extremely fortunate up till January that neither none of Duffy, Fleck, Coutts had any significant time off through injury – which is somewhat remarkable when you consider Coutts's recent track record.

I reckon he'll be wilders best signing. As his experience grows he's going to be class

I think CW has finally got a promotion winning team together and they will all be as important as eachother this season for us!
Come on wizards, you can do this!!!

JOC, Basham & EEL all play better and look more confident when Wright plays between them, play the 3 together and they look shaky and disorganised, this is no coincidence.

To date Wright is the player of the season IMO.

what a sight seeing the 6ft odd man mountain doing his ian bryson impression time and again! quality yesterday

chris would say its team work , balance , wright covers jocs weaknesses and joc covers any Wright has
stronger together
as is the whole unit

I don't think so. Coutts will and should come straight back in. Carruthers isn't as influential on the game as him and we need to put our best 11 out every game. Carruthers did ok but Coutts is absolutely key.

But is the shirt now Carruthers to lose.
Wilder has to make a tough call.
He can't keep saying to them all you are all part of this squad and you will all be needed at some stage, and when they are called upon and they do ok drop them straight away when another player is back fit.
Tough call for Wilder.

It'll depend on how fit the pair of them are, but wouldn't be surprised to see Carruthers play ahead of Coutts and let Coutts rest another game...

Wilder sounded confident he'd be ok, but if he's not 100% it might be worth ensuring he's right for Saturday. I've no worries with Carruthers coming in, though given he's only recently back from injury he may struggle to play two full games in 4 days.

If Coutts isnt fit for tuesday, i'd go with Carruthers for Scunt and Bolton as well.
