Duffy had an excellent game against AFC, would be surprised if he gets dropped despite Wilder's comments about O'Shea midweek. Also think we will stick with Lafferty's experience for the time being.
 
It would make sense to rest a couple today and a couple on Tuesday for minimum disruption and maximum rest.

Don't even make the rested players travel, so they get a proper break.

Not much point resting Lafferty when he's only just come back. Freeman has played every game since August.

Riley for Freeman

They've just had a week off, no need to rest players now. Play the best team
 
Didn't Wilder say after "no new injuries" that a couple were carrying knocks ?

Whoever they are, they could be the ones rested.

We will see.

Was watching a Gazza documentary on Youtube last night from when he was at Rangers, he was saying when you have such a strong team, that it makes it so tough to break into the first team. Every training session match was like a cup final. I think that United's training will be like that at the moment, nobody wants to miss a game in case they don't get back in!
 
United kept Coutts injured very quiet, hope it not serious, but he was wearing a leg brace on Monday and Tuesday I'm a bit worried as he's been instrumental in this seasons success so far. Time to make your mark Carruthers.

Says it's not serious and should be fit for Tuesday night
 
To be fair it shows the depth of the squad that one of our best players is injured so we replace him with another one of the best midfielders in the league.
 
I'm still slightly worried about the amount of cover we have in CM. O'Shea is a certain type of player, so if we lose Fleck we'd have to push Basham up and put Wilson at the back. Do we have the ability to recall Whiteman?

OShea as well and like you say, Basham CAN play there....
