Based on 30 games of evidence, YES. And a resounding one.

I genuinely think this squad would be top half Championship if not challenging play offs. So do Wilder and Knill for what it's worth.

You posted a picture of the league table to supposedly back up these assertions.

But given that the season is not finished, you've proven nothing. It's a snapshot of the current position, not conclusive proof of our overarching superiority.

It's a hypothesis formed on the basis of incomplete information, which incidentally is the dictionary definition of conjecture.

Now, I grant you that if we maintain our current position until April, that would support your claim, if not necessarily prove that we are indeed too good for this division.

Don't confuse objective analysis with my apparent dissatisfaction at the comfortability of my underwear.

I think that on our day we're probably the best footballing side in this league and we definitely have the best squad now, but we'll never be too good for it until we finally get out of it...at the top end.

I do though think though that all clubs with a stadium and support similar to United usually have to have better squads and players with a stronger mental attitude than the norm to succeed at this level. Team's will always up their games against them/us even after 6 years, even more so it we're at the top.

and that's exactly what I think too. We are the best football team in this division. Bar none. Based on all the games we've played this season, not just one, or two, or three, or seven, or thirteen, or twenty, or twenty six...but based on 30 league games played to date.

It's fascinating to see how some of you reacted to this question. I could have guaranteed that you'd pick out one, or two, games to make your point. My point is simple, it's not about any one game, it's not about the previous three games, it's being able to look at the season as a whole and draw on conclusion based on ALL of it to date.

The conclusion is clear. This doesn't mean we are too good for this league, because we are here on merit! But it does mean that we should be the team amongst all other teams, who have the best chance of getting out of it. And we will.

You are right of course, "it's not about any one game, it's not about the previous three games," and it's not "being able to look at the season as a whole and draw on conclusion based on ALL of it to date" No, unfortunately, it's about looking at the season as a whole after 46 games and no less and then you'll see who are too good for this league

Imo, I think it best to shut the fk up and wait and see and history endorses that. The previous 3 games before yesterday should also remind people just how quickly things can change.

Suspensions and injuries to key players could still yet play a part, God forbid.

I will wait and do any mouthing off after the season has ended, or our objective has been achieved, as I, unlike some on here seem to have, don't possess a crystal ball

We are biggest team in this league but we arent too good for this league because we failed for 6 yrs, last we had 5th 7th 5th & 11th
