Think people are being a bit harsh on Coventry here. This is Dean Hammond . Nobody deserves that and I imagine there will now be an increase in their games being stopped as fans take to the pitch just so they don't have to watch him play

seems HM and KW are obvisouly the stand outs and credit to them both,
KW especially as with the way his career went on the up so quickly and mixing with all the 'stars ' of spurs and villa he could have turned into a complete arsehole and typical full of it footballer .


good to see Monty getting plaudits (probably more than he ever got when here !)
IMHO we have missed him allot and never really had a Centre Mid who has all his attributes since, i suppose people may point to maybe Basham but IMHO Monty was head and shoulders above him and played in the leagues above ( big part of our promotion /cup semi, PO final 's and premiership squads)
every team needs a Monty type !

Nothing at all and I accept that just because he once played for us, doesn't make him Carlos Alberto. Personally I always thought he'd be decent in the Championship but that he was a lesser footballer than Naughton (or obviously, Walker). Having said that, Burnley are self evidently not Barcelona, so the inbred Lancashire peasants really ought to be concentrating on counting to ten or similar.
