wooo, glad to hear you got it all sorted fella!

i didnt really get it sorted more than just waited for the general sale and then went to the box office.

Never got any response from the club at all, nothing from any of the emails that i sent. Quite dissapointed actually.

But Hey i got the season ticket and that is the main thing

Its strange for the club to have not released a figure after the renewal deadline.

I reckon we'll be looking at about 18k again

I guess they'll probably wait for a target figure before making another announcement.

Could be worse... Cup semi finalists Barnsley have just "smashed" the 2000 barrier!

apparently pigs have just got over 8k s/t tickets :D

I still havnt got mine yet going this weekend to renew. I forgot all about it lol

I've Been Told Today We've Only Sold 16,500 Season Tickets.....!!!

surely that wrong

we've now sold 16,200+, thats more than this point last year...

which is an interesting piece of trivia for the ones who said we'd be far down on renewals.

That post was made more than 3 weeks ago, i would imagine we would have sold more than 300 in nearly a month ;)

As Sheffield United put season tickets on general sale tomorrow (12th June), Plc chairman Kevin McCabe has thanked fans for their "terrific response and support" which has seen 17,500 supporters guarantee their seats for next season.

McCabe praised fans for their dedication and pride in following the team ahead of the eagerly anticipated 2008/09 campaign.

All remaining seats at Bramall Lane will go on general sale from 9am tomorrow (12th June) with the Blades' ticket office remaining open until 7pm.

Interest is expected to remain high with the announcement of the Carling Cup draw on Friday (13th June) and the Championship fixture list released on Monday (June 16) with high profile games against Sheffield Wednesday, Barnsley, Doncaster, Derby, Nottingham Forest and Birmingham.

United sold more than 18,000 season tickets at the start of last season and went on to enjoy the highest average attendance in the whole of the Championship.

Mr McCabe said: "I would like to personally thank every supporter who has purchased a season ticket this summer. The club has been delighted with the terrific response and support our fans have shown since they went on sale.

"I always knew we had the best fans in the country and this emphasises their dedication and pride in the Blades. We are doing everything we can to reward their amazing loyalty by gearing the club towards a successful season that everyone deserves."

Season tickets are available from £359 (adults) and £239 (concessions) right up to the start of the new campaign.

United are also continuing to offer children under 12 a free season ticket when they sign-up as a Junior Blade for £10 and are accompanied by an adult season ticket holder.

Supporters still have a number of great seats at Bramall Lane to choose from and take advantage of the U12s offer, especially in the family enclosure of the Capital One stand

moral of the story... listen to foxy ;) :D

should we be expecting the same amount of crowds then at home this season
between 24-28 thousand?

Mate at work tried to ring today to get his Season ticket seats moved if possible.
He tried at 9 (41st in the Queue), Half 9 (System wasn't accepting calls due to high demand) & 10.30 (64th in the queue)!!!
Busy day at the box office looks good for sales.

I rang just after 5 this evening and got straight through. Moved from kop to central but high seats in the South Stand. Am pleased, and a little bit surprised to get central seats. Given that most people have renewed from last season I was expecting to be out at the edges. Not complaining mind.

Moving from the proletariat to the bourgeois eh? ;)

You might have taken young Sensi's seats, as he was from that neck of the woods and not renewing :)

PS: Welcome to the forum :hello:

hit 18,000 now :), hope it hits 20,000 probably not but it would be great :D
