Liked everything I heard from him apart from the last bit. Hanson is not what we need.

Hanson at the very best an impact player from the bench even at this level. I think Clarke could do that if necessary and we could use the money for the winger and defender.

I will agree with what Pinchy will no doubt say, if these players start lumping it to Hanson from minute one we won't go up.

That's the bit that's annoying me, even Wilder seems to be fixating on our strike force, when it's our defense letting us down. We are the equal top goal scorers in the league, our defense is mid table-esque.

The ability to score goals is the only reason we've got to this position. The "If the defence is so shit then why are we top?" argument is utter bollocks. The simple answer is that it has fuck all to do with the defence.
