Our 23s play Hull tomorrow at 5pm immediately after the home sides Premier League fixture.
We are able to coach our young players and play them against good guality players some from first team squads What we do not provide is game time in front of a loud support. Hull seem to be addressing this by encouraging their fans to stop on and see their up and coming stars. Could we not try something similar?
I believe most of the 23s games should be played at The Lane and at a time when our supporters could attend. We play most home games at Stocksbridge and although that's fine for old ones like me it is not suitable for fans in work. I am surprised that more retired fans don't have a day out at Stocksbridge I can even travel for free on my bus pass.
I would suggest more of our games be at our home ground and at times that could attract a larger attendance and please please advertise and promote these games. Who knows you might see another two quality goals scored and be entertained by young players who follow the high intensity game played by the Senior team.
Be good to hear some ideas to encourage additional fans to attend these games, they won't be disappointed

It is a great idea but most supporters like to know what the team is doing but can't justify the time to come and watch.

I do think having a match straight after a first team game would be well worth a try. I am sure many fans would stay behind and watch.

If it's owt like the youth games, they're timed for the normal working day of scouts to attend rather than normal fans.

They ought to be 7pm kick offs like the reserves used to be.

I notice comments that fans don't know a game is on until the day of the match and some notice that first team players will play would help as well

Yes I agree with that
