We went to the most inform side in the division and quite frankly taught them a lesson in the second 45. Could've been 5 or 6.

Fleck had his best game for a while after a few less impressive ones, Freeman great again but should've had 2, motm is Lavery though - what a performance. 2 assists last time out and 1 goal and an assist today. Have we finally found our partner for Billy?

EEL confirmed, Lafferty all but confirmed, 2 more to come! Finally we have a team to be proud of. Quick, fast passing, attacking movement and solid in defence (bar the odd lapse).

I thought after a good start we had a shaky 15 mins or so following their equaliser up to JOC's goal and we're fortunate to come into the break ahead. But second half we were superb.

No we have played Southend twice so can't play them again.

Just got back and thought Southend are the best team we have played in a while for 25 minutes in the first half they gave us a real test and caused us lots of problems. They played us at our own game and worked really hard to close us down at every opportunity and because of that we gave the ball away quite a bit.

Second half they tired and we showed real class freemans goal was superb play and we do look the real deal. What wilder has done in the last 6 months is remarkable and long may it continue. He has galvanised the players and the fans. You only have to look around today and everyone is smiling and fully on board. The fans stay at the end to clap the team off and it feels like a 2 way thing between players/staff and the fans.
