Seems to be growing into the role of Billy's strike partner pretty well now and notched another goal today, which should give him some confidence. Unless we sign another proven striker this has to be our striker partnership moving forward.

I rate Done for his work rate and causing problems for defenders but I think that now is the time to go with Lavery and use Done off the bench to run at knackered defences later on in games.

Fucking brilliant result today - superb effort Blades!

Good to see him get another goal - can only do his confidence good.

Think his directness in going at players is something different and seems to be developing a partnership with Sharp.

Given the slow start he had with fitness and injury it's essentially like a new signing.

just remembered he used to play for southend on loan when they were in league 2

Remember when some of us were suggesting that a better striker alongside Sharp might see us turn 2-1 wins into 3-1's and 4-1's?

Maybe today's a good example of that.
last 2 games is a good example of that set up 2 goals against bury

To be fair to Lavery , I got the feeling it wasn't just physical fitness that he was struggling with . The way he was right royally fucked over by our dearly beloved neighbours left psychological issues that he also had to deal with .

Make him feel like one of us and he'll have a storming second half of the season . I loved the way after he scored today he headed straight to the Blades to celebrate . That was a sure sign he's now overcoming whatever issues he may have had .

You're a Blade now Coalan , one of us , now go and rip the ever loving shit out of the opposition .

Begs the question, "should sharp get a starting place?"
159 minutes without scoring and no sign of Wilder subbing him. Managers Favourite?

Who else would you put with Lavery?

Let's hope we've now heard the last of the "we win more matches when Done starts" bollocks. Perhaps it was Lafferty, Eel, Moore or one of our many excellent players after all.

An important little cog in the machine developed by the mistro.

Well it certainly had fuck all to do with Clarke

No it did not; neither did I mention Clarke!

It's another of those "fucking 'ell, he's right" moments I'm afraid. In this case, it was quite inevitable. I've suffered plenty of mediocre triers. I know one when I see one.
