late in the second half the ball dropped on the edge of the D, the whistle went late for a foul and Sharp had already made up his mind to hit it, it was probably the sweetest struck half volley I've ever seen, keeper was rooted to the ground as the ball nestled in the top corner.

Big shame the whistle had gone but no way would their keeper have got to it.

It was a sweet hit. Reminded me of a home game where Lyle Taylor smashed in a volley from forty odd yards, only well after the whistle. He was lucky not to get booked and it was a real shame he never did anything like that when it might have counted.
