Kop was pretty much dead first half to be fair, can't remember a single chant

Around me there were no moaners really, just people frustrated with the final ball, and also nervous because top spot was up for grabs and we didn't look like capitalising on the situation today... zero to hero for freeman because he had a poor game but took the glory, of course it's over a season where up to now freeman has been excellent, but I'll take ugly wins all day long..

As for part timers are we really going to discuss this again? All welcome from my point of view I'll have a full stadium every home game thank you very much...

In fairness to OP.....dickheads shouting shit at players and knocking confidence are a blight on the club. Sadly, they also seem to be the pricks with the biggest gobs!

If tha has nowt constructive to say, then say nowt. Positivity, breads confidence. Encourage and praise them for having a go, it's like buffoons making out the players couldn't be arsed when the reality is far from that.

Anyway....also gets on my tits, so I'm with the OP a bit on this one

But he is claiming that it's not the regulars that are moaning, it's the "new" fans.

Family stand was pretty lively today so not sure if that proves OP point?

Dicks who get on players backs should keep their negativity to themselves regardless if they are season ticket holders or part timers.

The pub and this forum are the conduits for negativity and bile. The ground should be for shouting, chanting and embarrassing yourself in front of your kids!

To be honest I would rather have the 20 000 that have turned up regularly over the past season and a half than the 25 000 that turned up to day if they are going to moan continually that we are not playing like Barcelona.
There were quite a number round me that moaned continually. Clearly they did not see us play last season. They turn up because we are at the top of the League but actually in terms of playing we a have not been at our best for the last few weeks.
We are an entirely different entity under Wilder There are no passengers in terms of effort, some may lack quality but we are in League One, with a large number of League One players. I am happy that we are trying to play football, that players are happy to receive the ball and confident on the ball. As long as there is effort and desire with this I can accept that they are not perfect.
Please all you moaners in the South Stand block A rows M and N next time you come, probably for the last game of the season, sit some where else and don't spoil my afternoon. After the last three seasons I deserve some pleasure

At £20 a pop that extra 5,000 will have forked over £100,000 to the club today. I'd hesitate to fuck that revenue off with January around the corner.

I'll moan about those who came Boxing day and did not come back today that is probably about 2k less Blades considering Oldham brought hardly any and Northampton loads.

I said the crowd at our first post festive season home game would be minus 5k on boxing day.
No reason to think different.
Had we HAMMERED Oldham and Northampton it might be different. We didn't as per,so it won't.
We really need to start keeping those extra fans for obvious reasons and anyone who bleats they can't get a fat cunt pie due to them needs to seriously think what they want for this club.

Quite a few fans will make a trip Boxing Day because they are off work and can actually get to the game.
Many want to come every week....but can't.

Fair do. I forget sometimes how lucky I am with work and got lost in the happiness of todays situation.

The idea that the higher attendance of today's match and the boxing day game is made up by a large bunch of one off or very occasional attenders has to be a load of old rubbish - Matches are attended by season ticket holders, obviously, and then a chunk of fans who for various reasons don't buy season tickets for a range of reasons, distance, shift work patterns, affordability etc. It's no surprise that more of this group turn up on Bank Holiday weekends.

Hope you've put that tenner aside, mate!
:)

Yes but did you jump up and shout "F**k off Kozluk you w****r !" like Bert did? Only people who did that should be allowed in.
No, I have more class than that. But I did think it! Seldom been more depressed leaving Bramall Lane, then elation when he was sacked.
