New home and away kits...

The Club will play against Bristol City on Saturday in the new home strip, and the new away kit will be modelled by the u18s at half time in an exhibition match.

Another TWO new kits? That's a bit ridiculous. It's going to cost me another 80 quid to have the latest ones - and yes, I know it's my choice, but how many other teams change both kits each season? It's a bit disappointing.

Rumour has it that the new home kit is going to be very similar but with a red 'bib' at the back (so might as well just wear the Prem season shirt!) and the new away kit black all over...
 



told ya it was planned to be black all over months ago! :)

Robson was still in charge at the time, I presumed it was something to do with mourning.
 
He he, I like.

One thing though - we'll presumably have to have a third set of shorts and socks in case of clashing?

Also, apparently Cap One won't be sponsoring us next season. My money's on Valad.
 
I can see the all-black looking quite sexy.

At least it'll be flattering for the old beer bellies ;)
 
Apparently Portsmouth looked like they were fielding several giants in their all-black kit yesterday, so that could be good for scaring the opposition!

A black kit I'll be happy with.

As for another home shirt..... well ya know.
 
My missus's dad's girlfriend is quite high up at Cap One, and she reckons they won't be - and in fact that the only reason they were in the first place was because they bought out HFS Loans and were obliged to continue the sponsorship.

Steady on there, I am feeling under attack on two fronts, age and size, is this discrimination at play!!!
 
Personally I am glad they are going to black. The neon green never made any sense to me and you couldn't tell the fans from the police in the stands. :D

I would also be glad to get the cap one gone. Here in the US they aren't used to the sponsor being 200 times bigger than the team logo so they all think I work for capital one. (Some of them a bit disgruntled with the credit card company.) At least Valad know one here would know or have an opinion about.
 
Thing is though, the Capital One sponsor is one of the smallest logo's we've had for a long time :D
 
I think we should go back to being sponsored by ourselves, with 'BLADES' on the front of the shirts ;)
 
How about a Sheffield company?

Although based in S6, Swann Morton make Blades... we are the Blades. Makes sense to me!
