There were three flares fired in all. The first went over the roof of the BL stand, the second landed in the pigs penalty area and the third hit the pig in the BLUT.
Two arrested
SwissBlade The Cardiff trouble I remember was after the crazy game that was 0-0 at halftime and 5-3 at the end with a Nuddy hat trick and a Lester worldy.
I used to park near the old MFI and as I got back to my car it was properly kicking off in MFI car park, a good 50 or so laying into each other. Will never forget the look on the face of a young couple walking out of the shop, probably after just buying their new kitchen suite, to see a bunch of grown men kicking seven shades of shit out of each other. They quickly went back in!
I'm sure that carpark was a venue of choice for football scrapping. I once saw West Ham's bad lads in there, and they were something else. Not Burberry clad scrotes, but grown men who were huge, butt-ugly, battle-scarred, and incredibly menacing. They looked like the hard-cases from Pentonville had all absconded at once.
Yes two of them.Someone got locked up didn't they?
Was there for that match on that ( there ) end .The wall collapse at Millmoor.
79-80.
2-1 Blades.
Was at that game as an up and coming nawty boy , the old lad died of a heart attack , we were on there end till half time , then walked across the pitch by the Met , i pretended to score in the open goal , didnt get back to Sheffield , or manor top till 6.30 then into Norfolk Park Comp .knackered that day .Evening match at Brentford in 1979. We won 2-1, but the aftermath of the match was tragic with an old man killed by a brick thrown into exiting fans. The Blades supporters' coaches were stopped on the M1 and returned to London where all the fans were questioned. As I recall, the old man was from Brentford and the idiot who threw the brick was a Brentford supporter.
Yup Leeds at home in south stand , a group was boxed into top right hand corner , after a skirmish on south stand , were they ran up into top corner , after a brief get to gether .Game I'm on about is the Leeds one
Belive it or not me and a group of about 7 others used to sit in the south stand , a year or two before everyone came over from the john st stand / terrace , we used to drop down into lane end from the ramp you walk down to get in and out of south stand , we werent hardcore then , but we were known to get stuck in once in a while .You're gunna get your fuckin head kicked in.
It was very intimidating for away fans in those days, the club, police and FA collectively have done a great job in protecting the away fans since then.![]()

On MOTD when it's all about the Premier League Des Lynam reported an incident of someone getting on the away team coach at Bramall Lane looking for Gareth Ainsworth.
Don't think he was looking for an autograph.

Was at the game too - quite lively on the home stand to our left from what I remember.Portsmouth away 1998 - the linesman incident. Was working away in Portsmouth at the time and was at the game, didn't think we were going to get out alive !
I remember the Blades fans launching a volley of pool/snooker balls at arsenal fans in our replay in the League cup at highbury when we were in the old 4th division, we won the first leg at BDTBL 1:0.And Bully's special prize...... your very own football hooligan![]()
