People on this Forum have some reason to work against our fans and our club for whatever are their personal drivers/ reasons. And some just want to work against other people whoever they are and what they say, for fun ( and a perceived power)..

I'll go back to my initial point. Well done to McCabe and the board for appointing the right man in Wilder. Nothing pointed there and of course I reserve my right to change my mind should McCabe and co sell our best players in January. I am guessing that everyone on this forum and anyone who supports the Blades wants us to keep our existing players and hopefully continue to add to the squad with better players. Nothing more, nothing less.

Barney, I do not try to control anybody, I state what I think. I always respect opinions and am really happy to debate them. Nobody is right or wrong including certain obsessive cases which happen in any group of people.

You 'flounced', I 'flounced', each to their own. I suggest this Forum is not the be all and end all in our lives but some people sometimes get drawn into bad habits and I think this type of media can develop into a bad habit if you're not careful. That happened to me and I had a rest, now I comment on a couple of threads a week. Unusually I posted on this thread because it has individuals and nonsense which work against the club. On the one hand you have the obsessed one trick pony, as sincere as anybody on here could ever be, but stuck in tramlines. On the other hand you have really manipulative, hard nosed trolls, one or two of whom are doing it just for the sake of their personal entertainment, personal needs and gratification. It's a form of power if not bullying even..

Barney, I have not worked you out. You could be a Wednesdayite in many ways. I have had you off ignore along with two other of my perceived 'guilty parties' on this thread for a week now and I am immediately back in amongst the nonsense, talking some nonsense myself in amongst that I might add.. You never make sense to me as a Blades fan, but I respect your right to voice your opinion; just have to say I don't want to hear it. I don't respect much you ever say frankly but nor do you of mine so that's mutual.

This thread is a disgrace to the Forum. Having tried to make 'big picture' comment myself I have ended up being drawn into past battles with posters I really don't wish to be involved with. Again lessons have been learned after previous lessons learned I suppose, but none of us can curb our natural inclination to fire away at biggots and bullies etc.

We care about the club but anybody who thinks they can serve the club we all love by talking one's own perceived 'middle line' touched with optimism, forget it. People on this Forum have some reason to work against our fans and our club for whatever are their personal drivers/ reasons. It is important to break 'bad habits', social media is obsessive and can become compulsive. Some posters were on here this week battling until 2.30am and back on early next morning carrying on. Not healthy and w eare all Blades after all.

You also need to drop the Wednesdayite line as that is obviously the biggest insult to any Blade, for which reason I personally only save for people I am extremely confident are pig fans. Being a Blade yourself of which I have no reason to doubt I might add, I would have thought you'd have respected that also but apparently you see fit to throw it about whenever you feel like it.

Your problem is that instead of just accepting others opinions and debating politely, of which you claim to do (but really don't), you take their opinions and for some strange reason, because they differ to yours, you automatically assume they are either Wednesdayites or in it for whichever peculiar motive you have thought of this week.

That is certainly not healthy and is possibly some form of mild paranoia.

No doubt WWF had some sort of lame excuse to reason that one away and a palliative 'well we signed 'x' player as a replacement' despite him having one functioning leg and chronic asthma.*

Heaped on that is also the judgmental proclamation that if you are on here at 0230 in the morning and again later, you are a sinner and an outcast. Never mind free choice. The club is a lot cheaper to buy without the additional cost of the freehold. Numerous clubs don't own the freehold of their grounds.



I think it was before then and certainly when KM was actively trying to sell the club. The freehold was assigned to one of KM's companies in settlement of the club's debt to him which had built up over a period. The rationale presented to shareholders was that the rent would be fair and that any purchaser would have less to stump up and just buy the business without the added cost of the freehold. In other words making the business easier to sell. Should any new owner demand the freehold then I'm sure KM would be amenable at a fair price rather than it be a show stopper.

McCabe owned the stadium before because of his controlling interest in, well, everything. Yet still some pretend he's stolen it although how you steal from yourself is probably something only the barrack room lawyers can find in their legal text books.

He's conned you like he conned the Pigs. What he said he wanted to do and what he did, are two different things. At Pompey he sold to a bunch of foreigners who didn't give a shit about the club but could meet his price. His due dligence extended to 'can they pay me in full?'.

Similarly over at the Pig, the Co-op took a big haircut and he found someone with big pockets. This god like hero, worshipped by the Piggies, made a nice turnaround in a few short years and once again rode off into the sun with full pockets.

McCabe has invested nearly ten times what Mandric put into that lot, yet gets no credit for it. True he has made some abysmal appointments but he has supported us through the dark days and didn't invest with the intention of making money from the club.

Whether you believe that or not is up to you.....

Good to see that Meelan and Harry are now good guys. I'd check what the opinion was on here when they were in court blaming everything on Rosie but using the searc facility makes some people cry.

Actually Bladesway you have served your time on message churn from the years 2012 to 2015 that I know of. I'm sure you were an expert on "copy and paste" too. I don't mind about that. I am happy to be proven wrong and have been on here. It's part of 'debate'. WWF, Pinchy and our man the big-brain don't believe in debate if it is critical of the past failings of this club. They'd rather point out that the Desso (for example) was paid for with cash found down the back of the sofa, and is the best thing BDTBL has ever had since the red and white cladding on the South Stand, and the former pitch sole reason for our depleting fortunes since our grazing the PL ten years ago.
