Chapman out injured. Check.
Fixture pile up imminent in shit weather. Check.
Coutts near a ban on yellows. Check.
Duffy sold in window? Check?
Inevitable freak injury to Moore leading to return of Calamity George? Check?

Anyone wanna give me odds?

Fixed for you, SBT.

Our away game at Oxford could be postponed too as the end of the Jan is when the 4th round is played.

That's if Oxford beat Rotherham at the New York stadium in the 3rd round.

Normally we have good cup runs and end up with a fixture pile up
So it's so ironic that for the first time in ages we're out of then cup early
But could still end of up having regular Saturday fixtures postponed.

Fleetwood now travel to Bristol City, so i doubt they will make the forth round. So if Oxford do win at Rotherham it would make sense to play Fleetwood 4th round weekend.

If Fleetwood Lose to Bristol City, they will play Southend United in the league on the FA Cup 4th Round weekend.

Might work out OK, as far as I'm aware the idea is for the game to be rescheduled at the nearest available opportunity. So no reason it can't be played the Tuesday after 3rd round day, so we'll have extra rest and they'll have two decent sized away trips in three days.

Except a club can claim a blank midweek from domestic fixtures before and after an FA Cup weekend if they so choose.

If the Fleetwood match is moved to Feb, we would face 8 consecutive fixtures against teams in the current top 10 between Feb 4th and March 4th (with 11th and 12th to come in the next 3 matches as well).

Now that is a season defining month, and hopefully one which forces the board's arm during the January window.

Blimey, stop being so pessimistic! On Jan. 14 we're away at lowly Walsall and we always beat them...

Looks like this poster's fears are going to come true. Oxford are winning at Rotherham and if they go through our match at Oxford on January 28th will be off. Is there any chance our midweek away game at either Bristol Rovers or Swindon could be rearranged?

No, Rovers v Swindon are playing each other in the league on the 28th. Looks like a blank weekend for us

Remember in the Fourth Division playing Barrow away in a friendly due to a blank Cup Saturday, perhaps we could play Barrow again!

Was looking forward to that away day as well, midweek probably makes it a no go
