I've got a good gallon of pre match ale waiting for me on the 28th amongst the studious and the spires of
Oxford. A night game is NOT the same... Been looking forward to this one all season and do not want it flecked up by the feckin FA Cup!

28 Jan we play Oxford away. A good crawl and day out.. Looking forward to it.

Tomorrow Oxford play Macclesfield in 2nd round replay. If Oxford lose our match is on. If they win, then they play Rotherham in 3rd round. If they beat Rotherham, then the 4th round is on 28 Jan.

That fecks up my Oxford plans and I guess a fair few others who'd rather go on a Saturday than a February Tuesday.

So come on Macclesfield..

If Fleetwood win tonight we could have 2 blank Saturdays in Jnauary as 3rd rd day clashes with our home game with Fleetwood (although Oxford go to Rotherham if they win so our game with them would not be off unless Oxford won there)

Fleetwood losing as I write this though.....

As others have said hopefully we play both games. No point being off/out from the cup if we then have lots of midweek games later in the season.

Really depressing that it's them and not us. For literally the first time in my life, we're not in the 3rd round. I love that weekend, it's one of the best of the season. The big teams come in and the cup really gets going. The randomness throws up some great matches. Some of our best ever cup ties were 3rd round FA Cup ties. The last jolly of the Christmas/New Year period. At least we have a game in hand, eh? That never blows up in our face does it.

But could still end of up having regular Saturday fixtures postponed.
