I was firmly in the give him a chance camp, but I'm far from impressed so far. From the new signings though, only he and Hussey are struggling so we can't complain too much on the recruitment front.

Thought hussy had a decent game today and Lavern got better as the game went on.
As for Leon, sell in January to fund someone powerful with pace

Hussey was okay apart from his crap crossing, not bothering to mark Madine for the goal and not tracking Ameobi for his goal

I think he needs more gametime, but unfortunately after today don't think we can offer him much. The guy has talent but the team in general has become a bit stale in the goalscoring department for the last couple of games, he was also up against perhaps the toughest defence in the league today paired with a forward who equally is trying to get fully match-fit.

He wasnt brilliant today, quite poor in fact but i think it is early days with him still and find this a tad harsh on a proven goalscorer at this level. Lets hope he can prove you all wrong.

And his god awful crossing ability.

You one of the ones hanging your hat on 15 minutes at the mighty Ches Vegas ??;)

Why a brand new thread on this waste of a shirt ?

Me and thee agree on this one mate. Never been a fan of this type of player, might weigh in with a goal every now and again but he's not a good player and doesn't bring a great deal of positives to the team.

I've done a 2016 remix of UB40s "1 in 10", especially for LeHavre.

It's got the working title of "1 in 11" !! But that could change ;)

Totally unimpressed by him, he looks half-arsed and well off the pace. Seriously can't see what he offers. Same with Lavery.

That massive three year contract is weighing heavily on him. Obviously can't get match fit carrying that around. Where's Pinky by the way?

He is a proven goal scorer at this level, and as we all know, it takes time for players to settle.

I'd definitely revert back to the team that was winning every week, and question those that were desperate to tinker. But I think think it's a tad harsh to label the poster as "rose tinted" in his analysis.

Alco.

At what point do you give it up as a bad job ?

Just curious.

All blades.

For me, now. I'd never have changed the winning team in the first place.

Thank said, I don't think we need to be disparaging about his career, which is very successful at this level. I don't think pointing that out makes anyone rose tinted.

If we were going to judge, it should be after a lot more time. That's time we don't have though.

Yes he is at this level, but not with this team set up this way. I also worry about the lack of incentive on that contract.
