A) What season was your first match?

B) Where do you think we'll finish this season?

Me

A) 1988-1989

B) 5th

A) 1988-1989 (2-1 win v Bury. Remember nothing of the game)

B) 4th

November 1970, draw against QPR. Somewhere in the top 6 but not automatics. Chris and Billy to inspire a play off final victory (at last)

86/87, although I only went to a few games. Got more stuck in the following 2 seasons.

1st or 2nd, keep the faith lads. 15 unbeaten before tonight and it's not as if we aren't playing well is it. On our day there is no one better, at least who I have seen anyway.

A) 1990/91 (lost 0-2 home to Leeds. Bastards)
B) Champions*

*although at the start of the season i think i said we'd be lucky to make the play offs

I don't know which year most older blades will know but it was the day we got promoted from the old fourth division and it was away I'm thinking Southend and Kevin arnott but all I remember is having the shit scared out of me when 1500 or so hairy Yorkshire men rushed to the front of the terrace and interrupted My game of he man. I have never recovered u scary northern bastards! I was barely 4 years old

First Match: 1991-1992 -Everton at home, first win of the season 2-1. The season was also the highest finish I've ever seen for us - 9th in the top flight, little did I know that was as good as it would get!

We'll finish 3rd and look back at lost points like this week and think if only, and then go on to lose in the play off's again.

1974-75 season

Confident it will be 1st or 2nd, more likely champions.
