Just seen that Simonds have gone into administration and I presume this is the current incarnation of our 1980s shirt sponsor; 'Simonds bandsaw blades'.

Add to this Wards, Cantors and Bentleys and you start to see a pattern. HFS seemed to have disappeared (part of Capital One?) and Desun and Midas Games don't exactly seem to be challenging Microsoft and Apple as multinational conglomerates.

Just a shame that the current shirt sponsor at S6 hasn't gone bust yet.

I think your right about HFS, I seem to recall them being merged with Capital One.

Insofar as such a thing is possible, the 'best' sponsor we ever had in my opinion was Laver, in the current incarnation of the company logo text.

A local company made good with ties to the club, and the logo actually looked good on the shirts. I'm pleased to see they are still going strong and have just opened a depot in Bristol!
