Charlton are shit.

They haven't beaten anybody in the top 8.

Surely you must have learned something from watching the last two games, if not the previous year's games?

You can't pre judge any game at this level. We've just struggled to get past 2 of the divisions weakest sides, and they were down to 9 men. Charlton are on the up. If they can put 5 past Bristol Rovers at Bristol they can give us a tough game.

I'd take a draw now.

I expect Charlton to defend in numbers and try to counter attack us. They have a good home defensive record so it'll be difficult. Lookman and Ajose will be a threat on the counter.

They had less of the possession at home to Port Vale, and away at Bristol Rovers. We're considerably better than both with the ball. We could well dominate possession. Just got to make it count. Hopefully we will now we're back at full strength.

I completely agree with this sentiment. Fortunately, Mr Wilder will have the same opinion, we go in to every game confident that we can take 3 points. Attacking free flowing football home & away.

To be fair to Cerberus, he said he would take a draw, he didn't say we should play for one. Come 5pm if we have 1 point in the bag I would be fairly content as well. Of course we should play for the win however. I don't think CW knows any other way.

I find it a bit baffling that we're in second place, having gotten great results away at the two teams nearest to us during a 14-game unbeaten run, and some are frightened of a trip to Charlton?

Yes they've got a new gaffer to impress, but we're more than capable of turning them over, especially if they try and take the game to us and open it up. Bollocks to 'take a draw'; let's nab all 3 and lambeth walk back to the trains and coaches.

Looks life Lafferty could be out through illness.

Assuming Freeman returns, I would defo look at a back 3 of EEL Wright Bash with Freeman and O'Connell out wide (rather than Hussey).

In fact, I would go with this even if Lafferty is fully fit.
