I want to win the Premier League.
I'll tell you what I want.
Premier League. To go up as champions from the championship as I want to win something. A run in Europe.
I also want to be succesful with the manager that we have and to get off the managerial roundabout. It's no secret that long established managers tend to 'win' something. Wenger, Ferguson. Ok, Murhinio (spell) was short term but I mean in general. I would love CW to be long established and see him build 3, 4 or 5 teams along the way.
I'm 60, got a dicky heart and a much younger wife eager to collect the insurance money so is trying to do away with me by 'loving kindness' . Come on you Blades BLOODY HURRY UP AND WIN SUMMAT!
The potential of us (and pigs I'm afraid) is huge, we come from the 4th. biggest city in England, it is without a doubt a footballing city, how somebody hasn't taken either or both clubs to the premier league and stayed there is odd, the main reason I have faith is because of our huge potential something the majority of clubs do not have, the support we are getting is incredible, the only other clubs who could match it are clubs who have had years of success and have collected support along the way, the problem with my argument? I've been saying it for fucking years.
I agree it is a difficult argument, however, I always have felt Sheffield is 5/6 th. biggest "city" in England, London,Birmingham,Manchester then Sheffield /leeds, in GB, Glasgow is above us, not an exact science I agree but my point regarding our potential because of the size of our city stands. interesting article nevertheless Chali.Sheffield being England's 4th largest city is a bit of a fallacy.
This article does a half decent job explaining:

There's a separate argument there bladey, what actually constitutes being a big club? I have my own feelings but I reckon we are bigger than Bournemouth but I can understand people having a counter argument.
.But size of city or size of crowd isn't the most important criteria in the PL anymore. It hasn't helped Sunderland much, or Newcastle whereas Stoke and West Brom, smaller clubs than us traditionally, have become regulars.I agree it is a difficult argument, however, I always have felt Sheffield is 5/6 th. biggest "city" in England, London,Birmingham,Manchester then Sheffield /leeds, in GB, Glasgow is above us, not an exact science I agree but my point regarding our potential because of the size of our city stands. interesting article nevertheless Chali.
I take your point and there are teams in the Premier League who are overachieving in terms of their history and stature. Can we honestly put the likes of West Ham (as much as I hate them) in that bracket though?
The other thing to add is that there has been a shift in football geography. Where you are located has a big bearing on your success. It's surely no coincidence that there are no teams from Yorkshire in the Premier League. Whereas your Bournemouth's, Southampton's and Brighton's are already there or are knocking on the door. Similarly clubs from London such as Palace and Fulham (are and have) benefit hugely from being in the capital.
Players want to play where they want to live. You will always get exceptions to the rule but it's why Newcastle/Sunderland (despite their support) will struggle to achieve.
Let's just concentrate on beating Bury tomorrow
Got ahead of ourselves?
Very kind offer ucandomagic, very kind but I couldn't possibly impose on anyone. (Sigh) I'll cope, thanks.I want to win The Champions League and The World Cup in the same year, but I'd settle for being able to try!
It wou be Magic
Several here willing to help out with the wife.
