If you could just post this on whatever Shrewsbury boards Roy found, that'd be great.

How many has Billy missed since he came back to us; two?Is Billy our best penalty taker? I don't think he's that good at taking them, to be honest.
According to this he missed 1 in 6 last season and 1 in 3 this seasonHow many has Billy missed since he came back to us; two?
Shocking, let's give Done or Fleck a shot!
Seriously, he does tend to hit it central but he's not done three bad has he buddy? Next time round the keeper will think he's going to go for the bottom corner...and he'll hit it down his throat.![]()
Yes I'd say he is despite him not being that great. His technique is to rip the back of the net off which occasionally results in misses. We haven't had a proper penalty taker since Nick Blackman.

That'll be two misses in nine then. Shocking stats aren't they mate? I can see why some want him replaced.According to this he missed 1 in 6 last season and 1 in 3 this season

We should be good enough to rise above any poor referee.
The coutts challenge is as simple as......If the foot was planted then then was a broken Tib and Fib.....Been on the receiving end of similar and suffered that exact fate.
That area of the leg isn't designed to take an impact and no amount of muscle can defend from it.
Even if it is to be considered sloppy / mistimed then this doesn't detract from the fact that it is an extremely dangerous challenge and a straight red.
Deadman still gave an episode of the Darren Deadman show again.
If you ignore the name of the ref you won't have any questions about the two reds. Not going to pretend I'm suddenly a fan of Deadman but today he didn't have much choice.
Official rule:
Denying an obvious goalscoring opportunity in the penalty area is no longer a straight red card - unless the offence is holding, pulling or pushing; there's no attempt to play or no possibility of making a challenge; or it's an offence which is punishable by a red card, no matter where on the pitch it happens - violent conduct, for example.
Violent conduct is punishable by a red card even if no contact is made.
That means it was an incorrect decision.
As I said in another thread, the key part is "there's ... no possibility of making a challenge" - that is there is no way the player making the challenge could have won the ball. Go back, watch the highlights, see where the ball was, and in particular which direction it had gone, when the challenge was made. I think you may change your mind.
One decision he did get wrong, though and it is the second time I have seen this at the Lane this season - following the Coutts red card decision, Coutts was made to leave the pitch to come straight back on. Where a yellow or red card is issued, the injured player if he is fit to continue no longer needs to leave the field.
The player is deliberately going for the man.
At the time I felt it was given for the verbal. I looked at video and still think so.Official rule:

Couttsy went off because his leg was dripping with blood. You still have to go off with blood. One decision he did get wrong, though and it is the second time I have seen this at the Lane this season - following the Coutts red card decision, Coutts was made to leave the pitch to come straight back on. He went to the touchline. Play immediately restarted as soon as he got there and he was waved straight back on. There was no touchline treatment.Couttsy went off because his leg was dripping with blood. You still have to go off with blood.

As requested, I did. Some of the responses from the local pond life were utterly ridiculous...If you could just post this on whatever Shrewsbury boards Roy found, that'd be great.

"Then pictures are very deceiving! Agogo's was a 50/50. Yellow at most he didn't dive in and it wasn't reckless"
"A fair, challenge and a 50/50, no cards needed in either, just Deadman ruining another game"
Wonder what's gone off there.
Betting on football is my guess. Hope there is no allegations of bribery or influencing games.
