Couple of points, if you're at a moderately sized club who've achieved bugger all yourselves, what gains do you feel are to be made by talking like a chavy snot-rag?
Secondly, perhaps Adams' move was as much about the removal of another bad seed as it was about bringing in money. Does it underline the themes we've read about from Chris Wilder that he wants people at the club who share his ideals. Perhaps Wilder didn't fancy a 2-3 year job dedicated to young Adams alone, convincing Adams of the role he wanted him to perform. The job in hand needs those who can adapt and flourish, I wonder if Adams had it within him to think about anything other than the material benefits of being a professional footballer?
