Isn't Brayford playing CH for Burton?
Done at LWB under Adkins
Jags as GK was pretty out of position, very Roy of the Rovers, didn't have much choice though.
We've had the odd centre half turn striker when we've been desperate, not to any great effect from memory. Shaun Murphy was one that sticks out in my mind.
Also Lee Baxter as GK was some kind of trade descriptions act violation.
To be fair Jags as a GK never put a foot wrong.
Always gets a mention in something bad.Tony Moore playing on the pitch.

I believe so – he's been part of a back three I think. One fan's report from their game at Fulham this week said he was "outstanding". No doubt Roygbiv will be compiling an update at some stage on those recently loaned out/sold.
People often say this. For some reason they ignore Windass's shocking performance in the second leg of the Forest playoff, his lazy performances generally late in the season, and his behaviour when the team was preparing for the final. He did not deserve to start.
He would have made no difference anyway that day. They battered us.
Agree with the logic but I would have still played him as he made Kabba a better player.
The biggest mistake of that final was playing the utterly useless Mark Rankine
Contentious but Michael Tongue in central midfield. Was brilliant on the left but had delusions of grandeur that he could play in the middle. Warnock somehow fell for this and he was never the same again as his career stuttered from one club to another without ever making an impact.

He's currently playing in a back 3. I am gonna do an update on the loanees at the end of the month. Brayford is going down well though which leaves a sour taste to be honest as he clearly wasn't interested here
I'm sure we once brought a keeper on as an outfield player.
Budgie?
I'm buggered if I can remember when or where, but I was there.
That was my reaction too. The whole thing is a bit mystifying, though perhaps it's simply a case of Clough knowing how to get the best out of him.
Basically, he's soft as shit. Bit nesh. Not much you can do about that, it's just his personality. I'm not sure he even really enjoyed being a footballer, I think he's probably quiet and reserved in real life and struggled with that, with being in a group of pretty boisterous blokes. But he was so talented and probably knew he'd earn more as a footballer than any other job he could do.I don't think that was Tonge's fault so much as United did not replace Brown with anyone decent and so they made a decision to put Tonge there, where he was less effective.
Tonge was with us for a long time but never as good as he was in his first season. That was a great shame.
I think Tonge has been unlucky not to have a better career in some ways. I always got the impression that he isn't that aggressive a personality. Perhaps that hurt his chances.

Yours and mine favourite of all time![]()
Thanks, I thought it was Reading but wouldn't have remembered Muggleton in a million years.Carl Muggleton came on up front away at Reading (Old Elm Park) under Kendall. We won 3 nil in blazing sunshine and Muggleton could easily have scored out third.
The great one John Harris relied mainly on home groans but some of who he signed from the lower leagues became heroes obviosly TC but the likes of Carlin,Hemsley and yea Bill PuntinHim, Duggie Brown, Don Peattie. And people say Clough/Adkins signed shit players![]()
