"United not done much and find themselves 2-0 up. We are far ok ponderous and slow. Too much sideways and backwards passing. United looking to get to straight forward."

Did Roberto post that?

Everything is good today but a couple of hours after a win you still have to get a dig in at the club. Why ?

When you were calling the previous a manager a prick multiple times was that "a dig" at the club?

(You were right btw)

Yeah nice one appreciate it mate. Never ran 13 before done 11 - but feeling confident - for a great cause as well. Cheers again. UTB
If you can run 11 miles you can run a half (assuming you don't feel like you are going to die after 11 miles!). I had never run more than 9 miles before I did my first half.

3rd team for me after Sheffield FC[/QUOTE]
If only they'd move to Sheffield.

Oh!

Actually I met quite a few on my trip out today and they are just solid football - loving peoplle.

3rd team for me after Sheffield FC

Good fans but they're not got any fans and that's what caused their demise.

A fantastic team playing in the top flight aiming for the European spots and winning FA Cups.

With all that success they still only mustered up about 8,000 regular glory hunting home fans each season. They consistently took the lowest number of supporters away from home and were generally dispised as a club in the 80's.

The Chairman called for more local supporters but the locals weren't bothered and I don't think they wanted a big time club.

So for me if the fans can't be bothered then why should anyone else be bothered. They're a slightly bigger version of Worksop Town (who also have true supporters) or Stocksbridge.

Also I still think Wimbkedon hold the Bramall Lane post war record for the lowest number of away fans. I was at the game and counted about 10, with another 10 in one of the exec boxes next to the away end.

So it's the fan's fault, then? ;)

oh, too few fans, so shut them down or move them, doesn't matter.

Wow.

I'm back off my jollies now but big thanks to Ricky for doing a fantastic job in the caretaker role. If we start losing again when I start back doing the view from again I will stand aside and let Ricky take over the hot seat

Bloody inconsiderate going away and leaving a junior in charge - you'd better step up to the plate or a permanent transfer is on the cards ;)

arrange it in June next year.

For some reason I have it in my head that the number was 14?

LOL! :D:D:D

There was one bloke sat on his own and when United scored he unfurled a banner and displayed it In the direction of the directors. I couldn't make out what it said though.

If it's the match I'm thinking of it said 'Back to Plough Lane' and it got a round of applause from us.
