Isn't there a player ratings match by match that does this?

From what I've seen so far a younger Mceverley

He's not as wank as people like to make out, but he's worse than average. He is a weak link.

Well Wilder and Knill obviously see something in him dont they, I dont think they made a snap decision either so, yes he aint got off to a great start but lets back our manager and support the lad, the problem with ourlot sometimes is we need a scapegoat, hiw many were willing to drive coutts out of the lane for free and now see a good footballer? To early for me to make a decision.

Oh, there's always a scapegoat and now George has seemingly taken himself out of firing line, step forward Mr Hussey.

No, I don't agree with it, it's stupid for fans to pick on any player but it has been like that forever apparently, in fact I'm sure someone could cobble together a "Scapegoat of the Season" award in the same style as the "Player of the Season".

He's not a scapegoat but he really is a poor marker.
He makes Freeman look like Bobby Moore

He has been caught out of position a few times but he's not exactly had wonderful support from the left mid\wing either, I've seen bits to be encouraged by but also think his defensive work needs to be improved.
Hopefully competition & possible a stint at left mid will settle him & we'll see the player we all thought we had bought.

Hope lm wrong but I reckon he's a dud.

I think Stephen Quinn is a great player , but even he had a couple of years hitting corners far too short under Blackwell .

Oh great, another player bashing thread. George will be relieved.

Coutts has had 2 OK games and is still as slow as he ever was.

Lets look on the positive side, he can only get better (can't he?)

He's not a scapegoat but any professional footballer who hits two corners straight out for a goal kick deserves a certain degree of scrutiny.

Plus he's been piss poor every time I've seen him this season...

We've spent years watching floaty corners randomly drifted into the six yard box. Now we have a player who's willing to take a risk by putting pace and dip into them. A higher percentage will go wrong, but I prefer these odds.

Of the two he cocked-up last week, one was a retake due to some pushing, which was a shame because the original kick was right on the money.

Nah. Bollocks.

A professional footballer shouldn't be hitting deadballs straight...

Sorry.

He likes to get forward and he can deliver a decent ball

He's made a poor start, that's without question but let's give the lad time to settle and adjust to the pressures of playing for a team with far greater expectations. Murphy took ages to settle and Wilder must have seen something we haven't so far to make him one of his first signings. Fingers crossed
