First, can I say I come in peace- I'm a Spireite and I'm not a 'other team hating' douche. I like the rivalry but not the hate. Anyway..
I can't understand how a player like McNulty has been allowed to go on loan to a rival team.
On loan at Pompy, he looked good and scored some goals.
He comes back, and when your needing a goal scorer, shipped out on loan to a big rival.
I would have had him at town TBH but is there something I'm not seeing?
Can he not cut it at the Blades? Is the player's attitude all wrong and that's why he's be loaned out again? Honestly, it's probably the one transfer window movement I found odd

He has a poor attitude and likes a drink but I agree we should have him shipped off to League 2 not another club in our league.

Anyway you have nothing to worry about, you have the best striker in the division. I can't see McNulty getting more goals than Evans.

It is indeed odd that we've let him go to Bradford but maybe we've given up on competing with them for a play off spot already.

We can recall him in January though. Maybe we could do a swap deal with you for one of your players....

Haha, who could you have you eye on?? ;-p

What you need to know about United is that we always do things that appear to make no sense or be completely stupid, which causes people to suspect that there is some ulterior motive or that our managers are playing three-dimensional-chess, but it later turns out that what we did made no sense and was completely stupid.

He wears jumpers over his shoulders the level 10 bastard

My view in what happened with McNuts (but pure conjecture ) is that Wilder saw that he and Scougill might have been useful or marketable after their positive loan spells elsewhere. This being so,they might be among the few that would bring in a fee if someone came in for them or that they may have an opportunity to re-prove themselves with us, perhaps a win-win situation.

In Marc's case he didn't seem do too bad in the early games this season that he appeared in so my guess it is the attitude and conduct again that saw him exiled for the second time. We may never know the real reason,

How do you know he didn't put a shift in, and how do you know that this was the reason he was sent out?

Wilder and Co will obviously see more than we do but I honestly thought pre-season he looked sharp and up for it. Certainly on the pitch he looked the part playing in the 3 behind the main striker. Unfortunately the signing of Clarke completely upset the applecart both for McNulty and United. Having lost DCL (another who played pre-season in the 3) there must be more to it with regards to Wilders thoughts. Letting him join Bradford is nothing short of bloody stupid though

TD has had a wild OTT hatred of McNulty for ages.

Stemming from him going on nights out in Sheffield ffs.

Apparently that deems him an 'insufferable cunt' and 'poisonous'.

Nowt like an overreaction.

I could give you a long line of ex-Sheffield United players who were partial to the ale yet did their duty to the club, McCuntly falls very short in the second catagory.

And you're not exactly the forums voice of reason yourself.....

clough bought him
didnt play him
adkins had a look sent him out
pompey got him played him , was good when it was fresh then he slipped onto the bench

cw said hed give him every chance , sold him

sort of a clue in there somewhere

So 7 points behind Bradford with 123 to play for we have given up competing with them ? You are quality sometimes

So they liked a drink as did McNulty, but they were better than him at football. Ever thought that this may be because he is technically weaker than those players.

Not claiming I'm any voice of reason. I just don't go wildly over the top and call players 'insufferable cunts' without the evidence that warrants it. The only evidence available is that he went on nights out in Sheffield. That is the basis on which you are labelling him an insufferable cunt. If you can't see the silliness in that then there's no point discussing further.

Maybe Tyler Durden isn't a fan of chupa chups.

Harp on all you like. You stated it as fact when we do not know whether it is or not, that's all there is to it.

If he is technically weaker than others, it's not a great leap of faith to expect him not to act the twat - why piss off perfectly reasonable citizens like TD?

CW said he wants only players who are prepared to work
ie put a shift in

hes sold mcnulty

I wonder why
He hasn't sold McNulty, he's loaned him.

CW has said many things which have gone against his actions further down the line.

But does that statement mean that he cannot offload any players who he deems have good attitudes but are not good enough?
