Would be a good move this - solid, a leader, but as Herbert says - no addition of pace unfortunately. He would go some way towards improving the spine of our side though and is good in the air in both penalty areas.

Surprising one though, and Millwall have come out and said there's been no bid from SUFC...

There's at least a little bit of fuckmuppetry here, from at least one side...

Our bid (allegedly) was made before we played Millwall.
Now it's on the twitter and everyone thinks it's today's news.
We do have a set of simpletons at RS.

Would be a good signing...believe there's a bit of unrest in the Millwall camp...

MOM against us according to their fans on Millwall's forum.
Can't see it myself would cost anywhere between 250k to 500k.

I'm sure he was the blonde haired centre half that won everything in the air against us for Yeovil a few seasons back.

from the looks of the blades, there is unrest here too.

but I agree would be a good signing but yet again does not fit the style Wilder spent all summer talking about, but then again its not that type of football we are currently playing, no wonder he might play Scouggs and Fleck in Midfield the Defenders wont have to kick it as high to play it to the big man up front......

Lazy journalism.
Dear, oh dear James.
The United bid was made BEFORE we played Millwall... it's only just been announced today.

Fuckin' Tony Pritchett must be spinning...

The Star. I wouldn't wipe Sutcliffe's arse on it.

It's all your fault. Quoting classical literature, they read this you know. Now they gone a bid for a guy called Byron!

Maybe we just bid before hand to unsettle him, because we're bellends like that?

There's a bit more to it than that. The guy at post #28 knew something over a week ago. I have a feeling this is not the non-starter that some [like to] believe...

Dont think this one is as pie in the sky as some would believe. Not saying it will happen or Millwall will play ball...just saying that ive heard that he quite fancies the move to the Lane. Lets just see how it plays out.

We wouldn't have bid if he wasn't interested.

Agent would have been contacted, asked player, if interested, bid in.

Not saying this will happen, but that's how football works.
