If I was George I wouldn't want to play for us either after the embarrassing toxic "support" our fans have been giving him.
Yes, his performances haven't been good enough but that's no excuse for the venom being spat at him from the stands. Get out of here George and good luck.

I wish him the best of luck in his quest to find a club where he can play terribly, let numerous goals in snd still be cheered to the rafters.

When was the last time you went?
Must be 25 years ago. Jaws was on the TV for the first time. Went to my parents caravan at Wainfleet site, dropped Mrs Jelly and Jellybean #1 and went back. Got myself haddock from under the heater lamps. Half way through jaws started shitting and dint stop for 5 days. Forgave them though, so many fish suppers walking on the sea front to the miners welfare for a few pints. Golden days.

Thought it'd be a long time ago. It's wank now :D

"it was a good deal for us financially" CW on the Beard - sums us up perfectly. I guess the same will apply when we get an(y) offer for George.

UTB

Be surprised if he ever plays higher than league 2 in the future. Time to look at other career options.

some views on this forum are unbelievable - you could put nearly any goalkeeper behind our current defence and would have exactly the same result

Don't want to make you feel old, but it was a mere thirty five years ago. October 8, 1981. United were in Division 4 and I was in a shitty B & B in Maidstone (next to the prison) in a room full of hairy-arsed builders. When the severed head rolled out of that sunken boat, we all jumped up and shat ourselves. (Well, not literally.)

Strange how time plays tricks with your memory. It's actually Linga Longa. :D

Wilder's playing the "I'm the L1 Guardiola" role...
Knew he was pals with the "Non-League Mourinho" but come on...
it's Sheffield United, not Manchester City.

Maybe the manager is fuckin' everyone off so much, that they want/have/NEED to leave...

Ryan, if ya lookin' in... can ya make that jump from Hallam FC to SUFC?

GO LONG!!

5 minutes ago many were wishing Howard out of the club. where is he now - oh look the exact opposite end of the table from us

I hope he stays because if he goes there'll be no competition for Moore, it would (or should) give motivation for Long to improve himself and to challenge the no.1 choice, he would also be away from the spotlight as no.2 taking the pressure back off him.

Until Moore picks up an injury and some idiots boo Long onto the pitch

Wish him all the best, but he's not progressed sins the first time I saw him as a young keeper against Rotherham (at the Don Valley, League Cup?) he was terrible that day, I said then that he would never make it, I wish he had proved me wrong :(

I would not leave him in charge of a pan of boiling water.
