If you were Nade not just a fake you would know what it's like you were shit!
F'ing abuse at the fans in your post is hardly being constructive or rational reasoning

Maybe not BIG as in status, but Scarborough FC did.
Yep they did, had to reform way down the ladder, Northern Premier now I think?

At least my post makes sense, with reasoning and things like that. What you offering here?
I'm saying the fans should stop pissing and moaning and just fucking stop going if you want to do something about it. If you're going and just booing and moaning at individual players then yeah, I would say you are absolutely contributing to it. If I was still playing at Bramall Lane and I got that shit from my own fans then it'd mess my right up. It's ruinous.
You're someone pretending to be a former Blades player.
One thing I have notice with our fan base is almost all our players are rated as rubbish especially any new signings.
Then when they've been sold they're suddenly highly rated talent.
I predict that if we sold Long for £100K most of our fanbase will be slagging off the club for letting our homegrown talent leave in the cheap because Long is potential PL standard.
We have a high proportion who try their best to put a negative slant of everything. We sign players on big wages and the complaint is we've over spent. We don't pay out big wages and that player doesn't sign then it's the board should overspend and be ambitious.
It's not the methods that matter, it's simply down to results.
I'm so pleased most of our fans don't run the club, manage the club or play for the club because many have given up already and are convinced well struggle no matter what we do.

Unfortunately we have got ourselves in the mindset of as soon as things don't go our way lets wreak havoc (or a small section have). I understand completely the frustration and the fact that we all pay a lot of our wage to watch what at the moment is well below what we expect from a united team! But booing and singling out players during the match is only going to turn out one way. I couldn't believe the stick George Long was getting directed at him, he's only 21 and whether he's paid to do it or not he's still a young lad who's learning his trade... I bet the lad wanted to get as far away from the pitch as possible, to be fair to him the goals where more defensive errors than goalkeeping ones. Also if I was a player and one of my colleague were getting that kind of stick and the boos were ringing out it would definatly effect my game too! Get behind the lads for ninety minutes if you don't like what you see go shopping with the missus instead!!! It's only 3 games!! Utb
no. i'll tell you what .. i'm considering a flounce. perhaps 10000 others might want to do the same. then we'll see what the players blame it on next. fact is they are shitIt's a subject as legendary Sam Morsy or Diego's private plate, I am of course talking about whether the negativity from the fans adversely affects the players.
I for one think it does.
Reason I thought I'd bring it up is because I've seen a few comments all loosely saying the same thing; that the fans were behind the players until we started conceding on Tuesday.
This is not true: I could hear ironic cheers for Long cathing the ball before the first goal.
It's a self fulfilling prophecy at times: we go in thinking/knowing they're going to be shit, make our feelings known, and unsurprisingly, they're shit.
To be clear, I don't think it's the biggest factor in our demise. I think board incompetence, manager incompetence and most of all player incompetence have played a much bigger part. But I still think as fans we should be shouldering some of the blame.
Is anyone proud of the atmosphere at the lane? It's library-esqe unless we have the chance to boo someone a far cry away from the "glory days"
I made a point on another thread that it will be extremely hard to bring young players through or get talented young loans in while the atmosphere remains toxic. It also plays a factor in games: how many times have you heard the opposition say "we knew we had to keep it tight, and the fans would eventually get on their backs"? (Or words to that effect.)
And before someone says it, the fact we still have ~18000 fans showing up after 6 years in league one doesn't absolve us. I'd sooner play in front of 500 fans than 18000 critics.
So let's try (as hard as it is at times), to get behind the players. I'm not saying you can't boo, I'm just saying it doesn't help. UTB
