Wizardry do you think slagging the players in a newly assembled team after three games is good??....yes or no?...
If yes go and sit with fulwood blade and shout "wilder out"......because that will sort out all the problems.....good night.
They still have my backing but that won't stop me from putting on here how shite they've played or alternatively, if we're lucky, how good they've played. If me slagging the players of on here is going to make them worse then they need a new job. My gaffer tells me in no uncertain terms when I'm not performing, which to be fair isn't very often ;)

Why can't you see my points and take them for what they are?

As a side note, Fulwood Blade is always genuine and tells it how it is, I prefer posters like this over ones who just stick up for the club even if someone on the board was shagging their wife.

Good night. :)

To be fair he's swimming against the current.

We need to get over this attitude that the fans can never be criticised though. It's cringeworthy. If you're going to throw a dig out, expect to get one back on the chin.
The fans can be criticised Rodley, for example those doing what they were on the Kop everytime Long touched the ball was pathetic and i was sat on there, there were some unsavoury words i can assure you. I applaud those on the John Street for getting behind him when this was happening.

Some of it though is unsubstantiated bullshit mate.

I'll explain.

Eamonn Andrews hosted a TV show.. "This Is Your Life" ...

Every "new name" on here seems to give us a brief and quite boring life story of them following United.

Hence, Eamonn Andrews, what have you started.

This "Bobby Peru" has done exactly the same... but even more B.O.R.I.N.G...............

remember the show of course, didn't make the connection. Marti Caine was on it once, very weird seeing Shiregreen on prime time TV.

New name??!!.....have you checked the profiles between splifs?!....I've been on longer than you...priceless!

Two days after Marti passed, a newspapers "celebrity anagram" teaser picked her.
The clue was "I'm in a crate" .

cringeworthy, but presumably a coincidence, bet anagram editors don't check the obituary columns every day.

Used to see her in pubs around Shiregreen from time to time. Once she put her fur coat (don't know if it was real but she did play Sun City) on a window sill behind where me and a group of mates were sat. Her husband said to us "I don't mind if you spill beer on it but don't nick it eh lads". Classy.

A mixed group of us were in an Italian restaurant in Scarbrough many years ago. Everyone was whispering and pointing behind me and I couldn't tell what they were saying no matter how many times I asked. I looked round and she was directly behind me. " I'm Marti Caine love" she said. We all ended up having a drink with her. Fabulous woman.

I'm sure she was.

I remember being out hiking somewhere like Matlock or Bakewell or Stoney Middleton (somewhere like that), this white roller coming along 'look at that it's Marti Caine!' I was stood there pointing like a Noddy. She waved to us.

Oh yeah and as for the OP, if you think 'the only way is up', you may have been watching the Blades since '67 (edit or whenever) but you haven't been paying attention.

We will see....review again in 6 months...I think you'll be surprised.

Born in 1991,Been watching since 1998, being a season ticket holder when we were in PL 06/07 and for last 3 seasons in league one, unfortunately/fortunately not got 1 this season due to working Saturdays. So back to 1 a month.

I don't think it's an overreaction when people criticise the club, players or management at this point in time.

Every season it's the same for years sell the best players, replace with average over the hill bottlejobs.

Fans are rightly sick of it, that said me and the people I grew up with (fellow blades) have arguably been spoilt football wise in our lives so far. So it's only fair we probably go through the bad too.

I am confident Wilder is the right man if the board support him properly, hopefully isn't as stubborn as Clough or as fake as Adkins.

Btw if Warnock was left in charge after we got relegated imo we wouldn't be in this mess.

1 phone call in January 2016 an apology from McCabe and he would've come back and imo given the players the boot they needed to make play offs.

Instead his man management skills keep Rotherham in the championship.

Anyway back to the topic, indeed the only way is up but it might take a while.

Lose next 3 games and we really are in for a long miserable bastard of a season.

Fans only get behind the team, if they see effort (a few shots on target). Indeed even in 2nd half against Southend the fans were still behind the team granted a few had left already.

Why would McCabe apologise?

Why would McCabe apologise?

McCabe reportedly said something along the lines of "Robson has achieved more in his first few weeks than the previous manager did"

Even if that were true which it blatantly wasn't, it was a very nasty, disrespectful and unnecessary comment for McCabe to direct at Warnock.

You've seen a bit of success at the club and that's great, but it saddens me how little we have had in your time. I've been lucky enough to remember John Harris and Dave Bassett days but even that is not a lot when I think what a club like ours should achieve.

I've only got what I read in Warnock's book to go off, so it's obviously one-sided, but I thought the account of his departure was a bit weird and I couldn't work out if he had resigned or been pushed. Sounded like he half-resigned and was expecting to be talked out of it and wasn't.

Agree with you I think we'd have gone straight back up if he'd stayed, maybe become a yoyo club for a bit and then pushed on. But he didn't and we haven't :(

never heard that one but sounds like the sort of comment that comes back to bite you when you've just made one of the worst appointments in the history of the club.

No disrespect in him going for the Pompey job, lying about being offered it and spendings£3 million " for the future" rather than on someone we needed immediately ?

Reportedly ? Is there a link to this from a credible source?

I've never heard of it either. A comment like that will be on Google somewhere and from a mainstream source not a forum. I'm waiting to see....

His contract ran out and wasnt renewed. That's what I always understood to be the case.

Shit decision not to renew then, presumably he already had his "big name" replacement lined up. And that is why we are where we are now.

No win argument but Warnock was out of his depth., As the capitulation at Villa - ive never despised a United manager so much as that day - showed. Let alone his odd selections for the Wigan game. If we hadn't gone down, Colin hadn't blown the budget and hadn't lost a ten point safety net, maybe McCabe wouldn't have to make so many poor decisions.

Neil Warnock was happy to almost derail our promotion bid in late 2005 by touting himself for the Portsmouth job after getting stroppy over his contract which he wanted renewing in November with the job not yet done. I haven't forgiven or forgotten.

Absolutely. The fact is the big mistake was failing to sack Ol' Big Nose before the Premiership season, rather than sacking him afterwards.

You don't know what I'm on about?!....well that just sums it up....it's not good at the minute, don't like watching it...but unless we get behind what CW is trying to do and fans destroy young players for making mistakes... Who of any standing will want to come and join us?....players will want out asap and we end up with a death spiral scenario...it feels like that now to be honest after Southend.....if it continues I might keep away....it's just totally negative bollocks to be honest.... The same fans that moan now were the ones wanting Warnock out of the door post Wigan.....they've played their part getting Wilson and cough the sack.....both are doing shit now don't you agree ffs!!!

Whether you reappear to actually debate the issues is entirely your prerogative, but from reading this post it deserves a few answers - just to put you straight.

1) I am behind CW - but he should be held to account for bad decisions and actions - he's made quite a few in the first few months.
2) As for players who won't want to come and join us...............Simon Moore today - knocks that theory on the head.
3) Players will want out? - no problem - we fans demand - and demand is the right word, 100% commitment.
4) You want to keep away - look, it's a free world as Wizz has said, we can spend our money however we want.
5) It's negative - yes it sure is. I sit in South Stand in despair at times, but NEVER, EVER boo/jeer etc.
6) As for Warnock out - I wasn't bothered either way - he made some stupid decisions - none more so than to play Jags at right back to counteract Wigan's left side midfield.........probably his last stupid act for me - but would have accepted him staying as he had credit in the bank.
7) Wilson the sack - stupid decision to get rid and even more stupid leaving Morgs in charge. Lets not get confused with DW - a nice fella but a very very average lower league manager.
8) Cough - presume you mean Clough - never wanted him to go - felt 100% certain he would have got us up last season. I also thought he would get Burton up (and I am pleased for him and the coaches) and I think he'll keep Burton up this season.

We all have opinions and the opinions of a few is that the present team is garbage. Very interesting that Long is probably on the bench now and Brayford has departed. No doubt we will lose £1m on the deal - but for me is was a nonsense of a signing anyway.

UTB - as always.
