I bet you thought you were going to be doing a lot less deflecting for McCabe this Season ...Lol.

You are putting more effort in for him than any of his Players are .... to date anyway

What annoys me most of all with McCabe is that because he has put so much in he seems to think we should al be grateful. I realise the club would be totally screwed if just walked out now as he owns the ground and we owe him millions BUT the only reason he's lost so much money is due to his own negligence. Constantly repeating the same bad decisions and clearly having no idea how to turn it around.
I don't think he wants United to stay at this level, he just wants promotion in the cheapest manner possible. If we did go up we would be scraping around for free transfers and cast offs again. We would be in the same market as Burton Albion which is outrageous for a club like ours. We have been, and still are, being ran like we are an average third tier club and surprise, surprise that what we are. At best
Maybe it's time for a co-ordinated 'stay away' from the next home game???With 19K crowds it may only cost McC a couple of million to run the club which could be recovered with a couple of player sales.
Promotion could cost him over ten million a season.
No brainier, stay in the 3rd whilst ever the crowds keep coming.

He has, but still be an impressive statement from the fans, as Gary annouces the Official Attendence of 13,000 to Bert sat in the South StandThe problem with that is, he's got the money already for 13000 of us.

We can still support the Local Businesses and Pubs by turning out, just not entering the Ground
Alan Ball said that after we beat Everton 2-1 in the FA Cup in January 1970Pains me to admit it, but at our peak in 1971, when Alan Ball (then of Arsenal), described Sheffield United as "a glorified 3rd divisionclub), he was right.
even more reason for doing it surely!!A stay away when we are on TV?
That's the slogan sorted when its season ticket time next year.."brave new world "..it's like he's been reading Aldous Huxley...ah well, so long as them flats still got planning permission...
Exactly. McCabe has not invested from any altruistic motive: he is driven by profit and, now, loss minimalisation. God help the Blades. No one should feel grateful to McCabe just because he's put money in. It's a business at the end of the day; McCabe has invested money but he's pissed it up against a wall due to his and the board's monumentally stupid decisions over the past few years.
Been reported that bids have gone in for 3 players, 2 today and one last week.Exactly. McCabe has not invested from any altruistic motive: he is driven by profit and, now, loss minimalisation. God help the Blades.
We have failed to cross the line on numerous occasions. Will this week be any different? Are these 3 rumours actually buy rumours?Been reported that bids have gone in for 3 players, 2 today and one last week.
Odd sort of loss minimisation?

only justAlan Balls dead , so we are still doing better than he is
Respect! I was guessing but I remember him saying it very clearly and it incensed me at the time. I thought it was an insult - which it was at the time. Had we ever been in the 3rd tier of English football when he said that? I honestly don't know but I don't think so?Alan Ball said that after we beat Everton 2-1 in the FA Cup in January 1970

their owner was prepared to bring in a foreign manager and radically shake the club up, he thought 'outside the box'............
