Big sticking point is no adequate replacement for Done's position. If maybe consider Freeman for it with Brayford at rb. That's more a 4-5-1 out of possession rather than 3 up top.

I see everyone assumes there will be a new keeper on Saturday.

People have been telling me for weeks that we can easily complete our transfer business during August after the season starts.

All we have so far is a Scougall clone on loan.

I hope we get a new keeper - hell, I hope we get 4 or 5 new players - but I don't expect it.

I think there will be a change, Fleck out and Coutts in, other than that, the same

Pretty impressive stuff lowering the standard of the Team so that Coutts is a first choice

Should be a legend by the end of this Season ...

Well don't miss the kick off if you want to see goals. Bad enough last season.

Yep. When Coutts and Freeman are looked on as bettering the team you know how bad things are.

Wilder obviously needs a chance but if we were battling and losing you could see where we are going. But it's a shambles, across the team.

yes, a lot of people don't like Coutts - but he is more of a midfield 4 player than Basham will ever be. Coutts can't defend properly, and as someone said about his 2nd half performance last night - Southend just sat back and let him try and dictate from deep. problem was, we still created little and scored nowt.

We have to try something different with what we have got, until replacements can be found.

That's what worries me, are we really that fucking bad that certain fans would be happy to see any of those 3 back in our line up?! I certainly wouldn't be.

I think we need to go with a back 5 of O'Connell, Wright, Wilson as CB's and Brayford and Hussey at full back.

As poor as Brayford has been, I still think he's better than Freeman.

We need to get to half time without conceding and then take it from there. 0-0 would be a great result!
