I'm a big believer in supporting staff at work - some will never make it and for them a support plan turns into evidence to end a contract.

For George I see no evidence of a sustained support plan.

Fingers crossed we bring someone of quality in very soon.

You cant blame Long. he has tried his best but is simply not good enough or has the mental toughness required to succeed.

One of Wilders big mistakes in pre season was not getting another experienced older keeper in as competition.

We needed someone who has been around the block, is able to command his box and marshall his defence and come for crosses.

The need is now urgent. I dont think that Long will be able to play at the weekend & it looks like he will be to be dropped or loaned out.

The fans can't be blamed for us not buying a new keeper in the summer. Is it going to help the lad being jeered and mocked by our fans? No, but he's clearly not good enough. So I can understand the frustration. That said he's not the only one who's well short of where they should be.

I agree with the first part actually thinking about it, but I thought that long was one of the better players last year(albeit not hard) and responded well after being dropped after gillingham, backed up by his consistently decent match ratings (second highest out of the squad) . Wasn't there a delay in him signing due to the contract being altered by United?

No its not the fans fault but the Ironic cheers don't help, where were the Ironic cheers when Sharp missed a sitter, Brayford hit the first man with every cross or Basham gave the ball away, cause they deserved it just as much if not more than Long

• We urgently need a new goalkeeper.
