a small minority of our fans just directly cost us the 2nd goal.
Absolute disgrace the stick Long is getting & that has directly resulted in that mix up.

I am by no means a fan of Long & believe he should be dropped/rested but I am above all else a blade & will get behind whatever 11 Wilder puts out & to boo a player collecting the ball is indefensible. The lads confidence is gone & I'll be very surprised if he comes out for the 2nd half

Morons the lot of them & im embarrassed to be on the Kop after 20 mins!!!
 



No no no if the expectations of one of the biggest clubs in the north cost us goals then these players are simply not strong enough.

My only hope is that this can only wake the board up to what Wilder needs. But fuck is this depressing..

Needs taking off a half time . This Lee Grant business has not helped Long or the club.

He's a very lucky boy (and I emphasise BOY) Time he grew up
He's been in and around the first team for about 6 years and never been good enough, if it wasn't for the fact that he plays for the most retarded backward shit excuse for a football club on the planet he'd be stacking shelves at Tesco's or somewhere.
 
Got to agree Long doesn't have the mental toughness to play at a big club with expectation and pressure.

He needs to find himself a league 2 or non league club to build his confidence up. That second goal was a calamity.

Poor ball hit over the top. Our central defence shield it but stop and let it role to Long. However Long stays on his line their forward runs in and Long still stays in his line.

Symbolic goal because the defense left it to roll to the keeper but he didn't do his job.

In future the defence will have no faith in Long and will know they have to clear it every time.
 
He's a confidence player. Which as a keeper you can't afford to be. He's totally lost his confidence to the part he's playing like a 14 year old girl.

Mind you, he should be in this position. After the other day he should have been replaced by Grant but by the sounds of it we're doing it on the cheap AGAIN.

One man is to blame for this and until he sells up we will only go out of this league the wrong way. We're getting more apathetic by the game.

I am at the game. The 2nd goal - like the 1st and 3rd - was due to shite keeping and defending. To blame the fans is f'kin bonkers.

3-0 down and no shots on target at home to the bottom of the league. The fans deserve credit for not showing more anger than they have.

This club - owners and team - is a fuckin disgrace

I am at the match and would like to know how the fans cost us the second goal. Long is no where near good enough how many mistakes can he make and your saying we should get behind him? Just take 2 mins and listen to your self and think what your saying. We should just let anyone get away with anything then should we because there not aloud no abuse? He cost us the game Saturday by a shocking mistake and then he has carried on where he left off but yes let's all get behind him because he is a brilliant keeper and worthy off a side pushing for promotion. And if you think he can't deal with the pressure then he should get out of football all together it's a sport that brings a lot of pressure with it.

What Goal a game Long costs us yet another goal, that just can't be! And don't give me that "fragile confidence" crap he's just a poor poor goalkeeper (and that's being extremely polite) he should not have kept goal for this club again after Gillingham away and that's a full 12 months if him chucking the ball in our net

Totally agree with you .. some of our fans are poison. And are part of the problem . Am surprised any player want to join us . Embarrassing! !!
 
The whole club is toxic at the moment. I don't like Long getting abuse but those fans have put up with year upon year of shite. There's no patience left but plenty of frustration and if you're playing badly, Bramall Lane isn't going to be a nice place for you.
