Ang on, are you saying he's incoming or just asking about him rather than use google?Anybody know anything about the player
Would be an incredible signing, but he's not one I considered to be a possibility at all and tbh I still don't think he would be.
He looked shit hot last season, he really was on fire. Looked very quick, razor sharp and a good finisher capable of scoring different types of goals from the bits I saw.
One thing's for sure, if we actually are in for him then there is money to spend, because he won't be cheap.
It would also suggest that Wilder's not satisfied with our current striking options and possibly doesn't even see Sharp as a regular going forward.
Lavery's a far more likely signing though. And for the price, would be far more sensible and probably better value.
The Bristol Rovers one, a striker bang in form: http://footballleagueworld.co.uk/26-year-old-striker-on-radar-for-sheffield-united-talks-planned/?
We are the front runners. I know some will say how many will we need, and how will we accommodate them, but to get promotion you need competition and to be firing on all cylinders - Done, Sharp, McNulty, Slavery, Clarke and Taylor would give us that.

The only way I think we could have any chance at all of signing Taylor would be using McNulty in a part exchange deal with quite a bit of cash going their way.

Got a release clause in his contract, don't think its that much honestly. Could've got him for free a few weeks back so I don't understand why we'd pursue. If he we signed him though it would be like KMAC going to Wolves in 2013.
We need to get up so not bothered about value and sensible pricing, if a big fee goes out for this kid and he fires up it will be money well spent.
But if spending big on Taylor means we can't afford to strengthen anywhere else, then we won't go up, no matter how good he might be.
Taylor top scorer in League 2 last season 27 goals .For those of you that miss Ched he is tied with Ched on 2 goals.
The most exciting player they have had since they sold Rickie Lambert.
Expect further outgoings...Maybe Done, McNuts, and whisper it round here, perhaps even the Beard![]()
I wonder if Ched's start to the season might have grated on McCabe and prompted him to try and sign a top striker?
Let's bloody hope so. Although I'm keen to see McNulty given a chance. But with his contract expiring next year, we've got a decision to make on him.
..... I think he's just shown loyalty to them.
Me too. Just Freeman to go then CW has shipped out the 'bad lads'I reckon Sparky is on his way to Pompey
There was a twitter rumour last week so maybe sumat in it

Coutts?
I meant bad lads as in disruptive. Che, Freeman and McNulty have been spotted on a few occasions out on the lash together. I imagine CW won't stand for shit like that
