I would sell him in a heartbeat. The loan spell love affair has never been there since we paid out big money for him and all I see is a rank average L1 player. From what I have seen today Wilder needs the wage space to improve a very poor side, would Freeman be any worse?

To be fair, he was very good. He had several seasons as a stand out full back in the league above

As much as I like Brayford, if we can get good money for him then we should sell him. There are better and cheaper right backs out there which would free up money for other positions we need to fill. I mentioned Reece Wabara on another thread. Still unattached as far as I know and Team of the Year last season. Surely gotta be worth an enquiry.

Brayford was absolutely SHOCKING today. Probably the worst player in a terrible team performance. That's about all I can say about him really.

I thought he was ok today and far better than Hussey. Trouble with Brayford is that he needs a right side midfielder in front of him to be effective. In the system we are playing he is expected to get forward but usually has two against him. Hussey rarely gets forward so there is no creative outlet from.him in open play.

Laughable that some are saying Freeman is a better full back. If we sell him we would need to buy a right back I don't don't think that is a priority at the moment.

It's such a shame but I just can't see this situation improving. It's started to turn a bit toxic with the supporters as well now. 2nd half he was getting some serious stick from the lower south stand which he must have heard.

I am not criticising it, as I understand the frustrations, just not sure he is the type to rise above it.

There's no chance of getting a fee for him. His pay is way above his ability, and that would kill any transfer fee - we're stuck with him unless Clough is allowed any similar madness at Burton.

Needing to get him off the wage bill, I am lead to believe we could do a deal for a `reduced fee`
Still owe Cardiff City money as part of the deal to lure him here.
