2 callers on p&g tonight said that the players didnt leave for hillsborough until 11.45 i think it was and the other said soon as the team bus arrived back the players were jumping out of the emergency exits and running for their cars to get away quick.

any truth in this or just what 2 blokes made up?

a) The fans coach left lane at 11.15am

b) I'm sure the players don't leave their car at Lane anymore for home or away games - they all meet at a hotel for pre-game meal and travel to and from the games by coach.

I heard that some "United fans" were waiting for them back at the Lane to give them abuse.....and did!
