On the face of it if wilder can get players playing at 100%, we stand a really good chance next year. With probably he exception of sharp and maybe Basham, no one else improved or consistently played about 70% of what they are capable off last year. If we can get the players playing to third potential it will be a start.

For what its worth, i thought Wilson was very light weight and quiet at Stocksbridge.... Semple was bossing him telling him where to go and where to mark. Semple is 10 years younger than Wilson and still had to baby sit him.

The comments that he needs his hands holding with a big vocal centre half are exactly correct.

the answer btl is that from 1200 miles away you haven't had to watch the same shite as the rest of us for the last 3 or 4 years.

take away the joy of the clough cup runs and it's been dreadful.

As for posting concerns on an internet forum, that's hardly likely to have any negative effect on the team or the managers and it's a perfectly legitimate way to behave.

I've no problem with your relentless positivity but you'd do well to lay off loyal fans who don't agree with you.

so any exiled blade who only get occasionally have no idea then .what crap .I see nearly all our games on the net and got to 5 games last season.and I watch the games as they are played .unlike some so blinkered with negativity they cant form an opinion as its already formed before kick off

I think you're clearly aiming this at the wrong person, which is no surprise as you have a long track record of making up crap as you go along. I defended the previous manager perhaps far longer than I should have. I've even given the ownership the benefit of the doubt on more than one occasion. My criticisms have been aimed squarely at Clough and his legacy because I believe it to be relevent to the current situation.

I haven't had a pop at anyone for being positive, my issue is with those like you who think it's acceptable to slate people who have been there week-in-week out, people whose views carry far more weight than yours because they've seen the situation first hand.
