He's not that much of a prick. We've had worse. Good player

Sorry, disagree. I can accept he's a prick but not much of one. I can accept we've had worse. I cannot yet accept he's a good player. He's always been a good finisher as I have consistently pointed out, but Clough, players on here, even Adkins have sussed he's not yet a good player. Hopefully Tufty will teach him what to do.

Good, hopefully we'll be able to sell the cunt if he keeps it up.
I thought you'd taken to Neil Collins watching, any goals yet?

Seriously though, Marc may be a really nice guy for all I know but even if he's a total knob, I really don't care if he can get 15 to 20 goals this season

I had to retire the 'Neill Collins Hasn't Scored' thread because he went and bloody scored the other week. Typical

Pretty safe bet it won't be. Those of us who have been around a bit have seen it many times...

I my more than twenty year watching the Blades (far fewer than you, I concede) I think I've seen it exactly once in a league game.

Nice to see Done getting a couple. Not so bothered if they sell Adams now.

isnt that the first times hes ever scored more than 1 goal for us in a single match as well only seem to remember him ever scoring 1 goal in matches

His attitude might not have been the best with us so far, but Clough consistently played Coutts and Adkins consistently played Hammond so I'm not gonna take them not picking McNulty as good evidence for him not being a good player. As far as I've seen he's a decent finisher and with the right man management (which hopefully Wilder can sort as you say) can see him being a real asset this season.

Wilder seems to be trying to sign players who want success and are strong characters. I doubt the senior players will put up with McNulty if he starts being a dick.
And he's a kid, he's young enough to learn, especially if he's surrounded by the right kind of people.

It just needs to be impressed on him that if he dedicates the next few months to being as good as he possibly can, he'll get the rewards. If hard work becomes a habit, he could be a very wealthy man who'll never have to get a real job unless he chooses to.
Or he can fuck around, play lower league football and enter the job market at 35 with no saleable skills.

Arrogant gobshite...

Or...

Understandable frustration at being infrequently picked, shipped out on loan, never getting a run in the side, scoring one week and dropped the next, and all this with few better options ahead of him. Justified arseholeness at times, in my book. As for the jack the lad nature, what's to be expected when you pay him a fair wage to play next to no football? He's going to go elsewhere in search of his thrills. Now he needs to graft, but I can't say I'm surprised that a young lad from Scotland with a footballer's wage occasionally nips back home for a smash up.

Young , away from home , no real responsibilities , not yet fully committed . Doesn't matter if they are from Scotland or Swaziland , they still need managing .

McNulty may surprise us as much as surprising himself . The only party time at BDTBL next season will be with a end of season promotion shindig .Think a number of players are now realising the importance of responsibility .

Others ala Flynn and Co , may be thinking if only . You don't realise what you have until it's gone .

Good interview I think and perhaps puts a realistic perspective on thinking he's always acting like a lunatic.

West Brom? Marcus Bent Hat-trick 6-0 win.

Or 5-0 away at Bradford in the triple assault season on Windass and Kabba debut?

Not sure. That was the case for Billy last season though. 21 goals all in different games.

Neither unfortunately. I missed the West Brom game, for reasons that escape me.

The one I saw was us beating Rotherham 5-0 at the Lane. I think Tonge and Pesch might have got a couple each.

A bloke I work with's son played for Stocksbridge PS on Saturday (Don't ask. I'm not telling!!!). They aren't even due to start their pre-season training for another two weeks. They basically just turned up and played on spec. Their manager wasn't in the least bit bothered by the result, it was meaningless to them. However, they are very grateful for the fans that turned up as the gate receipts along with the other pre-season fixtures they are playing, will keep them in business for a long time.

So that w**ker McNulty scored two completely meaningless goals against opposition that didn't give two f**cks.;)

Keeper had a 'mare an all.

Ah yeah, forgot that one.
