All i can remember of Webber was frustration, he had no shot on him. He'd do all the hard work, quick feet in to a great position then pass it gently to the keeper.

I don't know why they didn't get Stockport instead. They could do with owners like them. They've just taken over a club whose supporters were probably happy being a non league club and are slowly forcing them closer to the corporate crap of the EFL. I'm sure a lot of their supporters deliberately avoided supporting a league club because they don't want to be a part of it.

Probably but so what? Surely between the five of them they can cover it?

My point is that they appear to be quite arrogant in their assumption that the supporters of Salford wanted them to come in and throw their money around whereas Stockport fans would, in the main, have been extremely grateful.

When he played for us, he was about 25. I'm surprised he's slipped down the leagues quite so quickly, 33 may be old for the Prem, but I would have thought he could be doing better than the Evo Stik league, that won't fund a lavish lifestyle.

I can confirm it doesn't - a mate of mine has been advising him on managing arrears. He can confirm that he's a real nice lad though - not what he expected at all.
