My first season in my six years at boarding school. It was a pain missing Blades matches especially the 5-0 win against Arsenal!

1971 was my best year but I thought 1973 was the most entertaining year with the flair coming from TC, Woody and Salmons at its peak. Two wins at Old Trafford, beating Derby 3-1 and 3-0, beating Arsenal 5-0, winning at Stamford Bridge and beating Spurs twice

My 4th season and the first year I didn't miss a game. Mind you I hardly remember anything - those were the days! Now I hardly remember anything for different reasons!

Great to watch hard tackles and players trying to stay on their feet. Mind you the defending was Scottish standard.

Why TC's free kick against Coventry was disallowed I have no idea. Made the hair on the back of my neck watching TC shimmy past people again though.

One game that is etched on my brain is the Arsenal game. Up yours Bally!

UTB - We will do Magic again this season.

The Arsenal game was the highlight for me..I think it actually followed that Chelsea win at Stamford Bridge...Good to see us beat Derby,as we never seemed to do much against them around that time.

TC didnt see the ref signal an indirect free kick

The ref raised his arm at the start to indicate an indirect free kick but then brought his arm down. Usually the ref would keep his arm raised until a second player had touched the ball after the free kick had been taken. In addition the foul looked like a trip and deserved to be a direct free kick.

Agree. It was harsh on TC
