Has anyone renewed since Adkins out/Wilder in?

Just out of interest, was you a season ticket holder last season Barney ?

Just as a point of interest but I renewed my season ticket several weeks ago now, for something like the 13th or 14th consecutive season, and at the age of 38 I'm nearing having seen United in first team action on a thousand occasions encompassing over 100 different grounds, from the likes of Old Trafford to Bodmin Town.

When we make it back to the big time, and the lane is full of the glory hunters who have come crawling back of the woodwork, I'll be able to look down on them knowing that I stuck with the Blades through the good times and the bad as well, but never turned my back on them.

We've already established how big of a Blade you are. We've already established that I don't give a shit.

But as you were asked a short while ago, do you have anything but my season ticket to talk about?

It might just make you that bit less dull.

If any of them are seriously aggrieved about this they really need to take a look at themselves and face reality. Or do they think that as a professional footballer you should be rewarded for abject failure?

The ones I could imagine being upset are...

Brayford because his poor mate Couttsy has been transfer listed, after giving it his absolute all (LOL) last season.

Adams because his drinking buddy McGahey has been released.

Basham based on that pathetic interview he gave about us needing to keep the squad together.

Long based on a similar interview.

If that's the case then they're all very, very welcome to leave because not one of them is important.

Eyup barney,it's your choice if and when you renew,can you just name a few players who you think we should sign who you think are viable and would make you pay up

I've not got too many ideas myself, but I'm sure there's many good places to start.

GK - Joe Lewis - Free
CB - Curtis Nelson - Free
CB - Ryan Tafazoli- Free
LB - Kgosi Ntlhe - Free
CM - Cameron McGeehan - Relatively small fee
CM - Romaine Sawyers - Free, although possibly unrealistic
RM - Anthony Forde - Free
ST- Tammy Abraham - Loan

Tom Eastman and Nathan Cameron as other possible options at centre back.

Although Cameron would command a fee, Eastman is out of contract.

So these players were happy last season under Adkins and were happy to accept new contracts even though they all played like they don't care. They can be as unhappy as they want for me. Any player who is unhappy that that type of player is leaving is putting their own feelings above being professional. Nothing is stopping them asking for a transfer. People want to know why we are where we are now, it's because we sign players like this.

Sometimes in life you have to prioritise what is important.

Didn't stop Doyle and Collins.

It's down to our owners. If they provide sufficient funding to replace all the players that have been released and all the players that may not be impressed by Wilder, then we should be OK. If they don't and expect him to play players that aren't 100% behind him, then it will be just like last season.
