Met a die hard Mansfield Town fan yesterday through work. Had an hour with him, five mins of which was business the other fifty five being football.

They absolutely love him over there, genuine hero status by all accounts. He seemed to think that with some quality coaching and some time playing alongside some quality players he could definitely play top end championship and maybe prem.

He said he knew of our interest before Wilder came in and knows Northampton were keen also.

There's loads of clubs in for him though by the sound of it. Reckoned he'd end up in the championship.

I have absolutely no idea who this Tafazolli bloke is but, if that is him, he looks more like a reality tv 'star' than a centre half.

Call me old fashioned but I like my centre halves to be big ugly fuckers who only ever wear fake tan on their elbows if it rubs off from a jumped up strikers nose.

Told me about Alan Stubbs going to Rotherham last week, and Andros Townsend left out of the Euros before it was known, so hoping for 3 out of 3!

When Wilder said a defender today that had League One experience than I thought well that's not Taf, cos he's never played League One. Now we know that's Hussey and hopefully we can get Taf too. That would be some week signing these three. All hungry and decent players at this level. That's what we want to see, mixed in with the better lads we've already got. There is nothing wrong with yellow teeth, green teeth are a bit dodgy, and black ones tend to fall out in my experience.

Once they fall out you can always go for the gold option, which is an upgrade.
