I don't see how anyone could objectively view it differently.

If that was building then God help us.

Wilder is going to feel the effects of both Clough and Adkins. If we keep applying the same judgments, the consequences of the previous regimes' decisions will not act in his defence whatsoever. I find this totally bizarre.

For those who never worked out why Clough didn't work out, his tactics are all based on counter attacking, which was why we did so well against better teams. They treated us with the disdain that we almost deserved and by the time they got themselves sorted it was too late, until we met a team with more quality on the pitch in Hull. Playing counter attacking against 1st division teams didn't work because they were scared of the name 'Sheffield United', and this is the reason many games were boring, 2 sides set up to counter attack and defend. If we'd had fast, fit players we would have got away with it. It works ok for Burton because teams took the game to them, they're minnows even by League 1 standards, they'll probably do ok playing the same in the Championship.
