I made him MoM in two games until Adkins reverted back to experience in defence, then the lad got injured.

Shame - he actually looked promising briefly.

Yeah, I thought he looked like a decent footballer earlier in the season - and certainly one of our better defenders. Looked compo'ssed and good on the ball whenever I saw him - then just seemed to fall completely out of favour after injury. Would defo keep.

That would also make 3 left back released if Harris (who I also liked) and Mceverly go (he one who needs to be gone for certain!.)

We may as well free up Howards wages and ive not seem much from cuvalier

I'd give Cuvelier another year... Unlike others he hasn't been hit by 400 injuries, he got one serious injury that halted his progress, but we've seen the potential is there.

Of those players there aren't many I would be arsed about seeing again. And the majority have proofed not good enough to go up in this league

KEEP Edgar - I would sign as he's a decent defender at this level
Harris and Flynn - I would have as squad players
Freeman - I think hes a decent player - thought he was harshly bombed out last year. certainly wasn't the worst performing defender
GET RID
Kennady / Wallace / Cuvellliar - might be good but no good if we never see them play
Baxter - free up wages and he's had his chances regardless of talent
Howard/jcr/mcfadzean - i'd release as not going to get any better
Sammon / Hammond - did nothing to suggest they should get a deal
Jay - indicative of whats wrong with squad. GET RID

At a rough guess could be 60/70 grand a week in wages assuming Sammon and Hammond were on 25g between them, around £3m a year. That figure suggest why CW will have a smaller budget

There's no one out of contract that I look at and think that we'd have to search long to find a replacement for. They've all had chances under more than one manager over more than one season. If they were ever going to be good enough they've had enough time to show it.

Ship them all out and give Wilder as much scope as possible to build a team. There's honestly not a player on the list where I think it would be hard to find similar quality floating around for free this Summer.

When certain people/ person on here go on about Bassett, Monty etc and how they despair that's gone its history.
But to even mention retaIning Edgar, Harris, Flynn and Freeman that's when I despair

I think Cuvellier might be one of those who now stays. He has a lot of technical ability and in a side that will hopefully play fast attractive football I can see him doing well.

If Adkins was still manager that'd be likely, but a change at the top might mean some of those aren't safe, while some of those Adkins bombed out might fit better with what Wilder wants to do (though that's unlikely)
