Yes but it's cold comfort when we should be going to the bottom of the league and coming home with three points in the bag. No matter how people dress it up todays result was not good enough by our standards around a year ago we were going to Newcastle and winning not Norwich bottom of the league and losing.
 

Of course it doesn't make people happy, you numpty. It's like losing a fiver and finding a penny. So we haven't moved; great. We also haven't made up any ground in the race for promotion. Happy is a very strong word, and I feel pretty inappropriate for the current situation.

Were it not for an act of God, we could have been below the filth today.

as a loss it went as well as it could in my opinion

I'm not saying its good, but atleast we can take away our remaining position from it
 
flipping linesman......

Killa was onside when the ball was played - he was still in an onside position when he headed the ball.

The linesman was so far behind the play it was un-real.......the flag went up once the ball was behind the line for somewhat 5seconds?

The same linesman didn't raise a single flag in the first half when the norwich players were offside atleast 4 times......

agree with you so far there robbie. but the fact that the linesman didnt give 3/4 clear offsides in the first half and to disallow our goal when he was onside is just a disgrace.

But as you say, we should be doing more so if this did happen it wouldnt matter.

Robson is a tit, were loosing 1 - 0 so why leave it till the last 10 mins to make subs?

Cant comment really on this game I went out and got pissed instead.

surely playing 4-5-1 with the squad we have against the bottom team is negative.
 
i could understand starting with it cos its been working for us away from home. but so far into the game you see it wasnt working and needed changing.
 
i just dont think the players want to play for him.

get him out before we play wedneday!!!
 
get him out before january, so new manager can bring players in!

Why leave it till nearly 70mins to bring another striker on in a game where we made our first real chance and shot on goal in the 55th minute, the man is clueless. Why bring on Hendrie for the last two minutes it begars belief.

Indeed, with what we have at our disposal, we should be a long way in front of where we are.

THAT is the real problem for us just now. Forget the rest of this season, because short of a fairy tale, bugger all will happen. What is going to happen post-January, and more importantly post-May?

Our club is where it was when Warnock took over.
 
I'm just so Bloody Mad this imposter of a Football Manager has been allowed to totally demoralise and destroy a once (like one season ago) pretty good side. We were one goal from still being a Premier League side, now look at us. Many many years of growing and maturing a side is now totally shot. After January transfer window what then?? I bet this Muppet is going to off load all the players who he can't work with and then mediocracy here we come. Sack the Muppet before January Mcabe, or it's all going to end in Tears.
 
What i really dont understand with that linesman or whatever they call them now - is he has given the offside firstly nobody in the ground even suggested that it could of been offside except him. If he wanted to get attention and stick his flag up he could of give a free kick for a push - but giving an offside shows you are clueless - he was constantly behind play all game a good 3/4 yards behind. End of the day you can say we shouldnt be blaming the officials- i think we have every right to in this game. About the game itself 1st half no point in us turning up - why cant Kenny come out and catch balls - he did make some good saves but he should claim more than he does in the 6 yard box. Corners when are we ever going to either beat the first man or not pass it directly to the keeper. We wasted too many chances from corners in the first half. Second half big improvement - Sharp looked a constant threat with good pace and a powerful strike pity he couldnt hit the target but it will come.
 
what about kenny in seccond half when he came racing out for huckerby to take it round him and hit the side netting!

Benno Number 1! a blade between the sticks!

I know what you're saying Keenzy, but I can't comment as you know I wasn't there :( (wish I had gone rather than some ridiculous staff party)

I've not seen the goal, or the decisions that went for them. But we all know that we will have a hard time with officials, I don't know why this is. For some reason, it must be in their contract that they must have a vendetta against Sheffield United.

It can be deemed negative, but as said, it has worked for us.
The fact that they're bottom of the league is irrelevant. They're in better form than us and most teams in the league of late.

I remember him doing this a few years since against Huckerby too, pretty certain either Morgs or Unsworth scored an own goal from DH's cross.
 
did it in first half, came out then decided to run back to his net and nearly got lobbed.

then he fails to come for balls in the 6 yard box. Benno back in!
 
the one i most remember was against nowrich two season ago on boxing day, come beltin out without a care in the world, got himself skinned and then scored past lol
