Question and replace with who? Who is going to come in loads of players out of contract in the summer. If we were ambitious and wanted to have a real go in the prem I'd probably agree with you. But realistically who on the up is coming anywhere near this shit show?
Mark Robins

He's a proper football man!

Even tho some things have changed by Wilder it doesn't look the results nor our future has changed much after all..
It's like the convo about goalkeepers, either plays and we concede 5..

Makes me wonder if we were paying off Wilder for last time, we still owe him money, so sack Hecky and Wilder agrees to come back using what owed as wages, suits both parties when you Think

This would make sense; Wilder's last contract with us was to June this year.

Am I the only one who is thinking Wilder's on screen persona is not quite as sharp and a bit more erratic than when he last managed us in the PL? Not sure if it's linked but I was a bit concerned when he stated when interviewed on telly recently that he drinks five or six pints at a time after a game.

Complete waste of time under the current ownership. The clubs with such models all have decent financial backing.
Putting a number of world class scouts and a proper system in place to scour South America, Europe and the Far East would probably cost considerably less than our next shit signing using our system of signing players.

Is he cheap - Tick
Is he dopey and a bit thick - Tick
Will he create zero interest in our fanbase - Tick
Are we the only club interested - Tick
Has he got a long injury list meaning nobody else will hijack the deal - Tick
Has he had a bit of success at a club that plays a completely different system to us - Tick
Can he play more than one position so we can kill three birds with one stone - Tick
Is he quite poor in one position and absolutely fucking shit in another - Tick
Is he a "body" we can get in - Tick
We don't need another left back, but hey, he's cheap enough and I remember he did play centre half for Maidstone United once - Tick

You're right that does seem odd, for most games that's not nearly enough.

Bang on.

Failed at the two jobs he’s had since he was last here but some bright spark thought we should bring him back.

He’s no better than Hecky.

I’m not necessarily defending Wilder but how do you define failed?

It’s been a lot better than under Hecky. Do you seriously think we were performing as well as we did today under Hecky?
That’s fair (still the same glaring issues imo).. however… a hot, steaming pile of white dog shit would be better than how we were under hecky. If that’s a benchmark then we’re well and truly shabbered!

Bad subs BUT imagine as a team getting battered ever week to be 4-1 to then 3 for some unknown reason then 14 mins added must drain the life outta these Las just like it did the fans

Unfortunately that’s all he can be based on.

He inherited a team that was on track to be the worst in Premier league history low on confidence / fitness / good players. We all thought there was a possibility we wouldn’t beat derbys record and with Hecky we wouldn’t.

Since Wilder has come in we have picked up points and thrown away leads. We have a lot of work to do in summer but we are so much better now even though still rubbish.

Wilder looks a beaten man before the season has even kicked off!
Royaly fucked over, literally!

I know some of you don't like him, but he's still one of us at the end of the day, and he just looks like he's aging infront of our eyes.
Must be wondering what he has to do, he seems to be fighting a losing battle with this "rebuild" or lack of, as it appears.
Feel sorry for the guy, he wants the best for the club, whether he makes mistakes or not, he genuinely wants to see United do well, but it seems that he's just been left stood on the deck of a sinking ship.

Let's hope that there is actually something happening for the better behind the scenes, because 5 days to go until the season kicks of for us,, and our Goalkeepers are wank, our defence is poor, and were barron up top. Not ideal is it.

If the takeover had gone through, I hear he wouldn’t have been in the job. So he’s her and getting us to the first game of the season
