Heartbreaking moment of the season

Unfortunately remember the game well. What's vivid was the crushing timing of the penalty for them just before half time, and the almost funeral atmosphere as people made their way into the stands hearing that Wham were 1-0 up at Old Trafford. You just knew how it was going to turn out, even with 45 minutes to play.

That's exactly how it felt. Going home afterwards was terrible. I lived at Hillsborough at the time, I'm sure you can imagine how that went with my Blades shirt on, the piggy bastards threw that much stuff at me that I felt like a fucking Aunt Sally.

Never felt quite the same since to be honest. A bit like giving your other half another chance after they've cheated on you. You try to love, you want to love, but you just aren't quite feeling it like you should, or did. But hey, thats just me. I envy any who still feel how I did because it was great, still is when you cast your mind back.

I drove home up City Road after the game in a long queue (felt like we were going to the Cemetery) - pigs were giving up large up there as well but I certainly imagine you got worse in S6 :(

Watching Hammond for his first 15 minutes in his debut and just st knowing he was not the 'signature signing' we needed after all that anticipation.

Wasn't emotionally invested enough to feel heartbreak - a season of troughs and bigger troughs.

It was bad mate

Has to be the day we sold Jamie Murphy and the realisation that his replacement was Woeford, you just knew it was going to be a shit season plus we were playing in Stevenage colours.

I actually would have to say the last couple of weeks, when the results came in on Saturday that topped it off for me, to think if we have beaten dingles, gills and a point at Cov then we would have been sat in 6th after such an appalling season. Heartbreaking to think they couldn't put in that extra effort and just let it slip away.

The bloody Maggie Mays advert on bloody endless repeat.

Indeed, I hate that ad. Grown men rubbing their bottoms together on a big screen, eew.

And ... added time sponsored by blah blah blah blah, Sheffield's blah blah blah specialists.

And ... the groundhog day pre-match build up. Same music again and again and again and again and.............................aaaargh.

And ... the presentation of the teams. Forget shaking their hands until it's over. Rip into them from the off and knock seven bloody bells out of them/

for me its the games v Bury... still not allowed to forget, reminded often by my Shaker mates,
how the mighty Bury turned us over doing a double for first time in 3 generations..
that night at Gigg was one of the most embarrassing matches I've been to,

When after much persistence we finally unwrapped our Dean Hammond toy.

Only to then realise it was outdated and didn't really work that well.

To carry on the trend, let's have a heartbreaking moment of the season. Manchester United's final min penalty after Hammond (blood boils when I type his name) puts in a stupid tackle.

Any more?
The start...ie the fact it started at all.

Sammons goal in that Cup game against us! :(

Mind you....I guess it shows the level he's about capable of! :)
Best chant from you folks that day was " Football league, you're having a laugh, football league, you're having a laugh."
Heartbreaking that I genuinely wanted to join in ...and still do.

Not attending games this season simply because I didn't want to go. Honestly felt (and still feels) like being involved in a break up. Nothing but feelings of anger and sadness about something I have loved for as long as I can remember.

I have never felt as low and hopeless about United as I have this season. Its been truly horrible
Me too. You see when relegated to division 4 I was only a kid and hope came much easier than it does now. I hated every match this season .

Yes thought this it a proper midfielder a bit of class he's let us and the manager down.

Whole Season Of Heartbreaking Moments

Morgan leaving
Losing 4-0 on opening day
Failing to beat Crewe
Failing to beat Southend
Failing to beat Gillingham
Losing to Coventry
Losing to Millwall twice
Losing to Peterborough

The list goes on

After the season we have just had there are far too many to choose from, one thing that really does get my back up is the sun tanned prick coming out after each match and trying to put a positive spin on the absolute shite the team has just produced, other managers have the decency to not shovel shit down their own fans throat but this seems out of this blokes grasp.

As well as taking 39 games to finally come up with a formation that was slightly better than the previous productions of crap.
Giving some of these players extended stays at this club when if he had taken the time to look at videos of last season he could have found out they were bloody useless.

i'm still trying to remember the game where i came on here saying 'worst i've ever seen' .. i meant it. problem is that there were so many shit games i can't actually remember who it was!
oh yeah. that fucking kit.. abomination.

Dack's goal for Gillingham on the opening day. The first 85 minutes had shown without a shadow of a doubt that the players were incompetent. Letting Dack wander in and score showed they had no heart either.
