He is quite literally in the top 10 strikers in the league:

He is tenth in the amount of goals scored correct what would that be correct take off his penalty goals and he isn't

For someone who has started every games a our no9 when available 11 goals in 39 isnt an amazing return it is good but not amazing

Of those players on that list I bet a lot of them offer a lot more to there team than just poaching in the box

Apparently sharp may be out for the rest of the season

What a F@@@ idiot Paul heckingbottom is

There was literally no need to bring sharp on last week

At what point do you think to yourself were 1-0 up at home with 20 minutes left , you know what ill bring on the player who is half fit and we are relying on for the reminder of the season

Its probably the same logic that plays Ben Osborn at right back

Thought you’d be happy

He is 10th on minutes per goal of those with 10 or more also.

If you add in assists to non-pen goals, so goal contributions, then he's 7th overall in minutes per contribution.

Only way he drops out is if you take his absolute goals, remove his penalties and fail to take into account his minutes played and there is no reason to do that as that isn't a level playing field to make a comparison.

Why would you remove his penalties anyway? His penalty against Derby got us 2 additional points and the one against Preston contributed to getting a point. Why discount assists if you're measuring his contribution to the team?

You have to take the penalties away from all though:

  1. Mitrovic 35
  2. Solanke 24
  3. Piroe 21
  4. Weimann 20
  5. Brereton 17
  6. Gyokeres
  7. Adebayo 13
  8. Johnson 13
  9. Grant 12
  10. Sharp 11
The goal contribution list (goal or assist) is:

  1. Mitrovic 48
  2. Solanke 34
  3. Weimann 29
  4. Piroe 28
  5. Johnson 25
  6. Brereton 24
  7. Sharp 21
  8. Adebayo 20
  9. Grant 20
  10. Gyokeres 20
Ndiaye isn't in either list.

Ndiaye has 5 goals and 1 assist in 28 games.

Ndiaye, Minutes per Goal = 340
Sharp, minutes per goal = 192

Ndiaye, minutes per goal or assist = 284
Sharp, minutes per goal or assist = 128 ( a contribution every 1.5 games)

I like Ndiaye, but he's still raw, I feel he misses too many gilt-edged chances and makes incorrect decisions.

Guilt edge chance sharp has miss far far more than Ndiaye this season

And Ndiaye has played in midfield most of this season
